How to install Virtuos repack?

Hello, i need your help, i found Virtuos repack but I do not know how to install it.

How so install problems?

You need to download the files. Then unpack them and setup your ODBC/Database and .ini files.
Then you good to go.

If you whant to build from the source then you need Visual Studio 2003 Professional.

If you dont know how search tutorial section on how to set up flyff server.

There should be a guide or something on the thread you got the repack from. You've followed my v15 guide, and it's very similar. You do not need to change the database or ODBC configuration or SQL configuration. You just use the v19 resource and v19 client instead of the v15 ones. The *.ini files inside Script might need to be configured (ResourcePath) but besides that it should work nearly the same. What don't you understand?

1. Download all .rar files placed in the first post.
2. Extract them all
3. Copy all Folders from the Resource folder except the LuaFunc one to your Client folder.
4. Extract the "Effect" folder to your Client folder; The path should be like [...]/Client/Effect
5. Create a ResClient folder outside your Resource folder and run merge2.exe
6. Copy all .res files in your ResClient to your Client folder.
7. Set up the source (maybe change paths of your binaries) and compile the source.
8. Copy the server binaries and paste them into your Program folder
9. Move your Neuz to your Client Folder
10. Create a shorcut and add the sunkist parameter
11. Set up the database and create the RANKING-Server

I'm not sure about Virtuos but you might need to compile the .exe files from source. This means installing VS 2003 (w/ SP1) and compiling manually. My v15 server (fortunately or unfortunately, depending on who you ask) makes the setup for a server very easy.


You should have downloaded and installed the v19 client, don't be using the v15 client.

The v19 resource should be extracted into its own directory.

I am assuming you copied the files you said into the Client because the guide told you so.

merge2.exe takes the files from the Resource folder in your repack and makes them into *.res files to move into client.

The source is compiled in VS 2003 as I said before. This is where you get neuz.exe and the Program .exe files.
Replace the neuz from the v19 client with the one you compiled.

The sunkist parameter isn't required for my v15, but it is for v19. You must create a shortcut to neuz and do this: http://puu.sh/djV9u/ee1a4acd64.png

If they give you a database, USE IT. If they do not, then use mine. If they give you one, you may need to create the linked servers manually. Search for help on this yourself.
