How to make a Registration page with Hamachi

Hey people,

First of all, I want to thank the person who developed this code and let them know that their efforts are appreciated.

Now on to the problem.

After following the directions dilligently and trying to log on from any computer, I am left with this message:

Warning: mysql_connect() [function.mysql-connect]: Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: YES) in C:\wamp\www\flyff\config.php on line 9
Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: YES)

Now, I do have Hamachi running, all the relevant processes that should be running is indeed running. I checked the data that I edited in the config.php file so many times that my eyes are now sore. It matches the .ini files in my server's folder. I have read through this thread countless times to see if I missed anything, and it seems that the only thing I have not done is place a Hamachi.txt file in the webfolder where the rest of the webfiles for this web page are. The OP's information about the Hamachi.txt file must have been lost, as I only know about it by reading some of the other posts.

What information should I be putting in the Hamachi.ini file, and what other options should I consider in regards to getting this web page to work?

I'd appreciate any assistance in regards. Thanks.

Right, I had indeed made the changes to config.php through notepad, but to no avail. I'll see what I can work on when I get home tonight. I appreciate the feedback, though.

Well, I finally figured out what the problem was. I have two instances of mysql running, and kept putting in the wrong password (that's what I get for not having a hard copy of everything, lol!!).

The site is running fine, and already I'm making modifications to personalize it a bit more. Once again, thanks and appreciation to the OP!
