I'm sure you're talking about mssql not mysql, cuz if it's mysql it won't crash, and mssql doesn't work on windows xp. I know you're using XP because every XP user got that problem. Upgrade to Vista or Windows 7 and then install mssql 2005 express, you should be fine.Originally Posted by silver0214

I'm pretty sure mssql 2005 works on XP, it's just a pain in the ass (if I remember right I had to uninstall certain updates first). Even if not you can always use the 2008 version lol.

here's a tips to stop restart your XP. your SAfe mode and System Restore to the point you install the MSSQL and its stop restart your PC. reply me if what happen...
