I need your suggestions from a v15 clean source

Hello guys and gals, I am here to ask some help from you but first I want to give some details before gonna start. First of all, I am just a beginner, I've created a server my 1st server last 3 months ago and it's quite easy to start with using server files. It will make me rubbish if I will use files that are just released from everywhere though so I planned to start within a source. My mate told me to use source instead of using released server files from others, because that's what he did in his server so I decide to move in it.

I'm alright in resource editing and other stuff. I am just here to ask some suggestions from you, what should I start adding stuff in a v15 source like the clean one released in this section.

What am I expecting:
-Suggestions from you
-I want to update it to v17, if it's alright
-Links if possible, it's alright if not just tell me what is it

I don't want to see:
-Bad feedbacks
-Flamewar
-Other's that can insult a user like me -.-

I don't want to make a thread anymore to ask a question with the same topic so I'll just give a BUMP for the thread.
Question is, now I started to add some small snippets to my v15 clean source but I don't have a server files that I am going to use for a test. Can anyone tell me what to do? Do I need to use v17 files to test my v15 source? Or I need to look for a v15 repack files? I checked the thread for v15 files but links are dead so I don't think so if that's gonna work for me :S

PS: Sorry if my English is not too good because English is just my 2nd language. I am from Philippines by the way.

Yes sir, this is the v15 clean source I am using.
As I've stated above, I need some suggestions/tips where I should start adding features to make it v17.

One more thing that makes me low this thing because other big releases links are dead that's why :S

That depends on what you've added. Have you switched to any of the new formats for resdata.inc, proplang.txt, propskill.txt, or switched from propitem.txt to spec_item.txt? If you haven't done any of that, use v15 repack files.

Alright, so I didn't switched anything yet. For the v15 repack files, I saw that links are dead so if you have them can you please share me a copy?
About switching those files you said. What are those for if I will change them?

In v16 and above, they added more parameters into those 4 files, that would cause errors if v15 source tried to read them. This is because they read each thing in the file one after another, and if there are too many or not enough, then parameters from the files will be put into the wrong variables in the source, and it would just cause chaos and usually an instant crash.
