No they wouldn't.

When Caali's files here were a 'big' thing, people only wanted them to work. Mostly kids with no programming experience at all that just wanted to have a private server. Everyone was still in the "OMG A PRIVATE SERVER SO COOL" phase when they eventually got banned from here by the poll i started.

And no day, will official files beat a good emulator. A good emulator will beat officials hands down, unless you somehow get the source for the official files which is unlikely to happen.
