    config Linking MSSQL Databases

I am attempting to make a server, and as I was following Dell Honne's guide, something stopped me in my tracks.

    Adding linked servers

Where do I do this in MSSQL?
I cannot find a feature saying "Link Server"

    Is it a query?

I am also having a hard time understanding what 'SQL SERVER INSTANZNAME' means...

    Please reply!

    Re: Linking MSSQL Databases

Press New Query then write the query:

    Code:
    exec sys.sp_addlinkedserver 'RANKING', '', 'SQLNCLI', 'XXX\SQLEXPRESS', null, null, 'RANKING_DBF'

    exec sys.sp_serveroption @server='RANKING', @optname='rpc', @optvalue='true'
    exec sys.sp_serveroption @server='RANKING', @optname='rpc out', @optvalue='true'
in XXX\SQLEXPRESS write ur sqlexpress name like mine is HOME-A84C9D631E\SQLEXPRESS
    then excute
and do the same to the other 2 querys
