    make private server public

My server works in local (127.0.0.1), but when I try to put it in public, it doesn't work ( I run the DataBaseServer but it doesn't work).

I changed the local IP (127.0.0.1) to my IP in the .ini's files,
and I also did the port forward correctly.

    Is anyone have an idea?

Change your configs to your ip.
( Make sure you port forwarded correctly )

When you have done all those things, just upload your patcher
    ( Contains, flyff.exe, neuze.exe and neuz.ini )
Also make sure your ip stands at the ip section at the neuz.ini file.

If it still doesn`t work, no idea.
( beside no time to find out, busy :)! )

I don't know exactly how to change my config IP, but I think I have correctly done the port forward.

Maybe it's because I took Windows authentication instead of SQL Authentication, or the authentication doesn't work?

    Mine work in both <.<

Triple check if you portforwarded correctly, i did it wrong first time. Thought i could do it manually in the connections and then add the ports.

I logged into my router, by going to the web browser and typing in my standard gateway, normally 192.168.0.1 i think... Then add the ports there.

Check all your server .ini's and check. Remember, that IP's such as Database IP, Core IP Account IP, should be localhost/127.0.0.1.

    Hope this helped D:

    D:
What that mean, is sometimes I put my IP and sometimes I put 127.0.0.1 ?

127.0.0.1 = Your computer , also the same as localhost.

If you put 127.0.0.1 you will be able to connect to the server, but other people won`t be able to.

Yes but must I just put my IP in AccountServer.ini, and 127.0.0.1 in the other .ini like Mallestarx seem to say?

Also, if I put my IP (not 127.0.0.1), I will be able to connect to my server? or just other people?

Just a check: the port forward in v15 is World 15400, Char 23000 and Login 28000?

    Re: make private server public

    Ok I put my IP in AccountServer.ini, and my local IP (127.0.0.1) in CacheServer.ini, Certifier.ini, CoreServer.ini, loginserver.ini, DatabaseServer.ini and WorldServer.ini.
I put also my IP in neuz and neuz.ini, and now it's working but just for distant computers, it's not working with my computer or other computers in local.

How can I do for playing with my computer which running the server, or other computers in my home, and other distant computers together?

    Re: make private server public

Try putting 127.0.0.1 everywhere, except for AccountServer.ini

At AccountServer.ini put your WAN-IP: What Is My IP Address - Shows Your IP Address

This is the way you set it up.

    Accountserver.ini:
    Code:

Ok thanks, but when I do that it's working with distant computers but not with the computer which running the server, or with computers in local.
Is this the same for you? or for you it's working with all computers?

Ok thanks, but it didn't tell me what I want to know.

Is for you, the computer which running the server can play with your server, or just distant computers can play with your server?
