    Map Showcase: Element Dungeon

So I was playing around with Beast, and wanted to make a fun map, didn't really have that much time to continue working on it but it's completed as far. Suppose to be a leveling dungeon for a server but there were some problems (not with the map). So decided to show you guys what you can make in less then 1h.

P.S. If any of you want this map just reply or msg...(This is my 1st map, be gentle)

It's completely flat. You need to add more texture and details to it, else, well done! :)

You also need to work on those mountain walls. It looks too unrealistic.

It's great for a first map. Most new map developers can't even get colors matched, and you did that job perfectly. Keep up the good work.

It is a nice start but it still needs a lot of work.

Firstly, the map is too flat. Luckily, you used some models that takes away most of the flatness to the eye, but eventually it will be noticable just like how Azria has too many bumps. I suggest adding some convex and concave surfaces to change the map slightly; however, doing so could ruin most of the map so it really depends on how it is done. Secondly, if you look at your boundary, it is just at one hight with no steepness to it. It is just a 90 degree angle, which is distorting the texture. I personally suggest making a mountain range just around the areas and make it both have steepness and no steepness to it. Make it so the texture shows well. Thirdly, just add details. More models to support detailing, and other techniques to support it. It all takes practice.

Also, it is not that bad for a first map and a quick map. My first map is my Forest Arena somewhere on here, and that took me a long while until I got lazy at the end.
