[MSSQL] Running two servers alongside each other

This is probably a stupid question, but I'm gonna ask anyways.

Can the official v11 files and the official v14 files be ran on the same computer?

I don't mean having both server .exe's running alongside each other, just the databases. I wanted to put both databases on my development computer so I could play with them, but didn't know if this was possible.

    Thanks if you can help.

Its possible. You just need 2 instances of mssql.

I'm not sure I understand exactly what you mean. Do you mean have MsSQL 2005 Express and MsSQL 2008 Express installed on the same machine?

Nono. Uuh like you know when you install mssql, it asks you for an instance for which usually you just leave it as 'SQLExpress'. Well you need to set up ANOTHER one of those.
