    Navigator window

I've been trying to improve the navigator and it's working almost 100% now.
The only issue I have is that there is this strange silver/gray-ish window border around it.

Does anyone know how to remove the window so that there is only the circle left?
    I don't quite understand DirectX yet :/

A hint towards where I have to look is all I need. A location where those windows are defined is perfect.
I can do the coding myself, the only problem is that I don't fully understand the structure of the source.

A few years ago there were quite a few people that replied to a help thread within a day, perhaps not knowing the exact answer, but regardless offering the person help.
Is this section dead? Have all the developers given up hope helping other people here because all what's asked is complete rubbish that has a straightforward answer? I don't quite understand.

Multiple Render Targets (Direct3D 9) (Windows)

Apply an alpha layer to the square render.

Well, that's for the other problem I had with it.

What I actually meant to ask is, how do you get rid of the silver frame around the navigator circle?

No idea about the white / black screen, but i had to hide border too, and i just changed the style window to fix that. But i did this to draw an tab into a parent window with buttons, so no idea if it will works.

I kinda thought that would be obvious if you figured out the other parts, but I've been working with the CWndBase interface for awhile... Anyways, just set this on initialization:

    WBS_NODRAWFRAME | WBS_NOFRAME

I had been looking in the wrong places for "WBS_NODRAWFRAME | WBS_NOFRAME", thank you.

    Re: Navigator window

I know this is a relatively old thread, but while editing something I accidently lost the fix that I used to temporarily fix this issue (texture files) and I can't get it back to what I wanted.

In these second image you can clearly see that the CLandscape minimap textures are rendered below the navigator circle.
From what Mootie has answered me I understand that I have to add another layer in between those two; below the navigator circle (map.tga) and above the minimap textures, including texNavObjs.

However, I do not understand how I should use the texture I have:

To cover up the parts OUTSIDE of the circle. I'm left clueless about how those textures are setup, because when I open them with Photoshop and edit them slightly most edits I make don't even show up in-game. I know it has to do with the alpha layer on those textures and how those are rendered in the game, but I wouldn't know how to select where it renders that texture as transparant (inside of the circle; so that the minimap is still visible) and where it renders the texture to cover up the ugly parts outside of the circle.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
