need a little help..

didnt really want to post in the help section seems as its not really a in game or codeing help..

Anyway so im starting up my flyff server, customizing it to the max (well using the skills i have at the moment), and i was told about this website.. i didnt realise the that there were diffrent types of servers like caali and rhisi ( i dont know the names of them), and i understand and have read about caali files being taken and infected with trojans and that lot but from what i have used there hasent been any problems..

what is the diffrence between all of these diffrent files?
is it the databases that are diffrent?
the normaly files that you play on?
the way its coded? is it easier to hack one and not the other?
just everything you got about it please tell me.

i found one thread but it didnt really explain in much detail..
im not a totaly noob and normally keep my self to my self unless i develope something good then obviously i will share so please dont flame this thread i just wanted to some normal answers for once.

i want to make the best of what iv got, like i said im not a totaly noob and i have got potential.

Caali files are v9 with v10~14 items, maps and monsters.
RuneFlyFF is v6, you can also add other rev items, maps and monsters.
osA and rhisis are v11, you can also add other rev items, maps and monsters.
Caali files have lots of bugs that will never get fixed, while the rest have lots of bugs that can be fixed.

Each file have it own database, Caali files have lots of databases because the guy who stole the files didnt get the correct database, so lots of things were broken.
Other than that the only changes(into the original db) you could do would be add items, monsters or maps.

I dont play on any, except the new rhisis that me and Aki are developing lol

Of course the way the files are coded are different, Caali files are more hackable because it have things that could be abused, but wasnt supposed to, since you cant develop it you cant fix it, the other files have less chances of being hacked directly.

All of the files are hackable. The difference is that you can fix the others, while you can't fix caali's exploits. Runeflyff has quite a good defense with a few alterations. I would try it and see how you like it before going to any of the less complete sources.

They are not developeable because there is no source files for caali's so no more developing can be done. Plus they are banned here.

Caali files have lots of things that you can access without a password or something. For example you can send a notice by sending a packet to ISC, on other emulators there would be a password or any other thing to block it from abuse.

Its developable by injecting code into exe's but it would take lots of time and experience to do small things, so in general it is undevelopable because the source is not public. There were lots of "fixes" on ragezone and other forums, but I repeat, it was because the database wasnt correct.

Caali files are overall useless. In all of my experience running them, it was just a bunch of people complaining about lag continually, and complaining about losing all their items(Another unfixable bug.)

People don't enjoy playing on caali servers. The only reason they do is because they're looking for a server with high rates. It isn't a good experience lagging like shit, dcing, and getting bugged all day.
