Neuz IP Adress
Hey!
I need help with neuz ip adress in my server, i noctice that everyone that download my client and plays sees my ip adress i'm not comfortable with that :S, I have download other servers and seen they leave the ip blank Like ip" ". I tried do it but it obvious doesn't work, so how do i get it to work? please help!
To do this, you need to download a program called Resource Hacker and use that program to open up Neuz.exe and go to the "String Table" tab, and change the IP from 127.0.0.1 to your server IP address. Then press "Compile Script" then Save neuz.exe to make the changes final.Originally Posted by laitila
Keep in mind, if someone really wanted to know your IP, they could use the same program to view it. You could then use an exe compression program to protect it further, but it still would not be impossible to find. Although as I said to you in my reply here, it's not really a big deal if they do know it.

You can do this, but
1) This offers no extra level of security, it just makes the address look better, usually for use in a web browser.
2) I don't think this would work if it was res-hacked into Neuz.exe, meaning it would still require a .ini edit.
