Wow, let the patheticness begin! I hope you seriously have fun setting these for yourselves other than running to others feets and beg. This just made all the work we had pathetic. You guys stand for this files to be kept here simply for the fact you want to run your own shitty servers where you don't even know how to code new things/edit others without someone doing them for you.

Thought i'd had my opinion to the release of the offical files, for those who don't know me i'm the dev of the levelme flyff emu.

You can't prevent the release of these files illegal or not but lets face it reverse engineering the offical files to make an emulator is still illegal running an emulator or the server files can still piss gala off your just more likely not to get a case using an emu.

People want a reliable stable set of files and now they have them. Personally i think the release is a good thing for developers and server creators with the intent to be willing to play with the files to learn how they work.

In the end unless theres a way to update the offical files emulators will surpass them anyway developers now have the option to run a offical server and do what they want to get packets. If any dedicated developers are interested in making an emu you could get an emulator as good as v11 and still have the ability to update to v12, v13, v14 and so on while official files will stay the same.

Stop crying about them being released you will always get people who can't run any set of files be it offical or emu thats what this section is for isn't it? Help & Development? I'm currently working on a similar system to ErlyGuard which will be released here to prevent the crashing thanks to the script from dBased.

End of the day we all knew it would happen as for those of you who are concerned about loads of offical servers launching the files are quite demanding and the crap ones will soon die off that don't have any custom stuff and just a 500x xp rate. Let the kids have thier fun and support the files for the serious developers/owners.

.ViruS, still. I wouldn't mind sharing them with developpers I actually know that can work on them. But having all this pathetic leechers that can't even get the files on with hamachi without having someone else helping them is pathetic. Most of them dont even uderstand the guides which make it even more pathetic.

Plus pissing gala or not, when only like 10+ people having them, including me, there was a less chance to have cases with gala, but now it's just a matter of time.

Also having them released just ruins the fact this section exists for. Now, instead of working even if for shitty emus, the only thing we'll see is how to use fames contents and how to add anything that is released here. Plus releasing your anti hack, in my point of view will only make things worse. AS noobs get preety much happy from having only 5 persons on if atleast its stable to play on.

I was able to set up everything but now i need an account to be able to log in ...
could anybody explain to me how to create an account??
when i used Caalis emu it was easy to create one in navicat but now i have to use MSSQL and i don't know yet how to use it correctly

Thre are like 3 guides telling you how to do this....please look around.

I'll admit at first mssql was a pain but once you figure out how to set up the MSSQL Management Studio (MS's solution to Navicat) and then connect to the database its a breeze.

MSSQL is easy to set up... lol.

What is so hard about clicking through the setup? Nothing. I doubt most people on here will even know what the advanced configs for MSSQL are for so all you have to do is install it.

I never knew installing something was hard.

its amazing when kids try to install something with a "click-and-pray" attitude. only a select few have made it this far like us. :thumbup1:

hey after i get files i just finished downloading how to i use them what do i do with them how do i lunch wich files i use to launch log in serv world serv and char serv i know im nab xD but can u tell me plz

Methinks developers should be less elitist on this forum now. It's got to a point that's just unnecessary. :)

Not everyone has the time, patience or intelligence to learn how to develop something like this. Now by no means do I support contributing NOTHING to the community, nor plain senseless leeching and begging for files, but what's wrong with letting some kids play a game? :D

I'm going to un-stickied this topic seeing as you are all probably aware the official files were after much annoyance to Glaphanking re-permitted in the section

so it is unnecessary however if he feels the need to re-sticky it he can
