Edited.. I hope this is okay now. Please let me know if its still not.

I think I have 300 more models from the same game.

I haven't got all of it since it takes time and I only started.
That is why I need a help from someone to rip more with me.
P.M me whoever wants to learn so we could share data and dry out
    the game's model fast.

    Take note:
~Those Back items are converted into cloak. They are animated with bones and they don't stiff or don't move at all so far I have failed to make the wings flap though.

~And the guns works perfectly fine with crossbow motion by just modifying
the motion in the source when the character holds crossbow.
    Tested and it was fine.

~The cars was the first one I got, They have a bit of mistakes there but it should be easily be fixed by remodelling it again. I didn't really want to add these coz it
makes the flyff pretty funny but since gpots added harley bike I guess cars are okay.

~Blade/Knight swords , spears , axes and misc fits in the hands just fine.
They were the easiest one to reverse.

~I also did the Katars for BP and staffs for elementors.
There is more and I need more. So please click the links below.

~Thanks for one of my players for suggesting and telling me about rose online.

Since Improved didn't aprroved this post and wanted me to split it and I'm not really sure where should these post belongs.

To view what I really want please refer to these links.

And I would like to hear a game that is similar to flyff and their models able to fit in the character. Private server would be nice since it will be counted as Legit.
I would give it a shot on getting them. Thanks

This is not just a show SHOW OFF THREAD. I need help , trade , suggestions.
    Please avoid flaming.

Added: I am also planning to do 4th job feature using the existing skills as template then modify it , add more skill slots in skill window via Daisy if someone has a working one and willing to make this skill window possible, think what the skills are going to be(getting idea from other games is a good idea).. Since we got these models what we are going to lack of is SFX , skill ICONS , motions etc.

The released 3rd job source seems a pretty good template to make this feature possible. Correct me if I am wrong but as far as I know with my knowledge I think we could do it.

Let me know if its not possible, reasons , problems etc.
If anyone is interested in helping me with this. Then it will be cool.

    Oh yeah,
This is currently what I got from rose online.
150+ Models of Sword , Spear , Axe Misc for 4th job blade/knight.
40+ Models of Guns , Pistols , Bows for ranger 4th job.
20+ Models of Katars , Knuckle , Gauntlet for bp/assist.
20+ Models of staffs , wand for 4th job elementor/psykeeper.
Apparently thats what I got. Though I'm pretty sure we can get more.

As I said above , We need to think more of this. Any good dev willing to help and have fun would be awesome.

    ~Regards

Only two servers currently have res encryption which are monster and fantasy (and the late ascencion), and they/we have it cuz we actually got off our fat asses from the leeching zone and learned source editing.

I must add that res encryption is not something very simple as the functions for loading the .res'es are quite cryptic, I myself took a good 2-3 weeks to create my own encryption algorythm and implement it, but that is mainly because I didn't knew squat about the source at the time (november of last year), I could probably do it again in 2 days nowadays.

Thank you , This is the kind of post I was looking for.
And yes. I have seen MonsterFlyFF redid the .res reading with something beyond my knowledge.

I also looked at the source on how Aeonsoft did the data.res , datasub1 and datasub2 reading , Though encrypting and decrypting is not really something that I learned from school.

Even if I manage to do the encryption on .res file.. I will encounter another couple of problems.

Neuz decrypting it and the patch would be around more than 200mb file size since the res that contains heavy custom models so that means players have to repatch more than 200mb files everytime I add new Items in, update or remove.

yee the circle from the back thingy
Yes they are, They also have their own animations. I could possibly do it on a different way but it will take more time to reanimate them using a reference model and some or most of it wouldn't probably work well. So I only used one instead of its default ones.

I haven't really played rose online or even bother to know what kind of game it is.
One of my player suggested that I could try getting their models and I did. Google's Power these days are getting stronger

Though I have to do the positioning , remodeling manually , and the rose online reads the texture of the game differently compare to flyff but it was pretty easy really to reverse it to make it work. I have really no idea about modeling.
So if you can't make it, then why not use others legit models.

Self learning is fun , fun is learning :)

That isn't entirely accurate. If I'm not mistaken, the way eFlyff does it isn't like that at all. The installer downloads the .res files in the Model folder and fully extracts all of them. So they're actually being read as normal files instead. This also means that when they add new items, they only have to send out the models and textures. The inventory icons though, in the Item folder, are all still in .res files, but they're small enough that repatching them isn't a big deal.

Thanks for your response ShadowDragon42, As far as I know the released Titatium patcher creator does it and entirely replace the .res file if the patcher detects it that has different size and/or date modified instead of adding new data in. This Titatium patcher pretty much works like galaa did. Instead of looking INSIDE the resource it looks outside it.

If you really looked at how the patcher works then go to gala's client again. Run the patcher. And see the patchlog or list.

The patcher creates a .gz file and makes it self-extracting and as I said above if it has different size or/and date modified. It will get replaced.
Please correct me if you find this theory wrong.

    ~Regards

Yes, you're right about how the Titanium Patch List creator works, but you sorta missed my point. Instead of telling it to patch that 1 huge .res file, instead have it just patch the specific files you're adding, without putting them in the .res file.

Also, you can't go check the list.txt on gala. Last I checked, they started encrypting it.

Edit: after posting that, I think I realized what you want. Are you saying that you want to download the new files through the patcher, then automatically add them to the encrypted .res files?

Or easier way. Encrypt the .res files first and make the neuz able to read it, Add it on patch I don't mind if I can't add anymore files to it or if it's big. What I simply want is to make this .res file encrypted and make it readable by neuz and a simple ResEditor , Resource manager , Easy resource manager etc... Unable to open it to protect those models or datas inside. So once the .res is in the client, getting something from it or even look whats inside it , modifying it wouldn't be possible anymore.

I found out some bits and pieces for doing this in VS 2003 , Though , as I said. Encryption and decryption or data securing is not really what I learned in school.

I looked in the source on how the neuz is scanning or reading the data.res , datasub1 , and datasub2.

The variables declared with given values is really complex.
I would really like to learn though. I would dig more info on how this really works.

    Thanks for your help.

Um, you're still misunderstanding me, let me explain.

I can tell what you want. You want to have all the models in 1 encrypted file. This would require editing neuz to read it properly. My idea is actually easier to add in than you think. After getting neuz to properly read the encrypted .res files, getting the patcher to check them and add new files to the existing .res files is mostly just copying the way neuz reads them.

I see, you are telling me to redo the patcher's scanning just like how neuz does it so adding or updating the existing file inside that .res file wouldn't cost you much size instead of replacing the whole .res itself. Yup it is a great Idea on the patcher side.

Thanks for that.I never thought about that lol.
I will get into that part once I successfully encrypted the .res file and neuz able to read it.

    Anymore tip would be appreciated.

And if you have a model dev, Tell him/her to send me pm.
I will give him/her a hand on how to reverse different models
and make it useable in flyff.

    Once again. Thank you.

Yeah, no problem. I tend to think outside the box even when I'm not really trying to.

I mainly came up with that idea because repatching the 1 model.res file that's huge would take soo much time. My idea is simply to improve the efficiency of adding new items.

I'm actually looking at the patcher source right now (since I've NEVER looked at it lol) to learn how it works. After I figure it out, I was planning to make it do what I suggested to you (without the encryption though, just using the current format).

I sent you a PM. As i said in there. That is the appreciation I am giving you for that patcher part. I haven't taken a look at it at the moment but it sounds more likely possible and please Do not release them
and more importantly. Get one of your staff to do the model ripping
so we could focus in other project like the .res encryption because without it, your project or server will get crippled by noobs taking it off something from your data. I will let you know when I start and if you are willing to help.

Yes, I know. I don't plan to do anything with this until after getting some encryption done on them. It would be a total waste otherwise.

How about this. I'll start with what I already said, getting the patcher to read and modify .res files and you can work on the encryption part. Once the encryption is done, it can easily be added to what I'm doing.

Thanks , I will try it tonight.
And it seems King5 is willing to cooperate in ripping out some more models. I send him 3 models examples. If he gets the repositioning and rotation done easily. Then getting more won't be a problem anymore.

Thanks for the people who is helping

Next ones are sent , The Shields.
And with the 2 textured models when you are in cinema4d try baking up the texture once the 2 materials or the 2 images are loading in the model. Find it in the Render tab.

Sorry.. I'm pretty busy at the moment.

Good job in the hammer car btw lol XD you placed the character perfectly inside lol.

    Status update for me:

I'm working through the patcher source to see how it works, although I got caught up on something that I found to be pretty stupid. When parsing the list.txt after downloading it, it was looking for things in very specific character positions. for example, the beginning of the filename had to start at char number 40. I've fixed it to simply read each line as a space delimited string, meaning I could easily add in new parameters. My plan is to add at least 1 more, to determine where to place the file being downloaded (ex. either just download it and put it into the client folder or add/update it to a certain .res file)

Hm, while thinking this through, I just realized something that I'm not sure how to get around..

The current format (.res) doesn't save last modified dates for each file.

I think I have a way around this that is quite simple. Add another parameter (in addition to the one I mentioned above) that will indicate if it's a new file or an update.

    Any thoughts on this?

Yes, I will download the shields, and reverse them asap, and I will send you the files once they are done. I try to make the models perfect, or I will not send them to you until they are perfect.

I also need some help with animating some things, what program do I need to animate them?

All I need really is animation and texturing experience then I can make some really nice models with animations and awesome texturing. But for now, I can reverse anything you want me to.

I'm not making any process with the encryption either, I just learned few things that Auensoft is using rijndael cryto and I looked more into the source.. I don't really think I could do it and the res file itself is already encrypted adding another layer to it would make the neuz read it more difficult or removing the old one to the source would create a mess..

And I haven't looked on the patcher part just yet nor time to do this encrypting.. I'm pretty busy at the moment..

If only we had the resEditor or easy res manager source it could have help us learn something to do is..

    I'm still trying though..

What kind of o3d converter are you using ? Don't worry about the animation just load up a reference model to make the shields attached to the character.. Let me know if you need help regarding that reference thing.

Not to be mean, but these shields that you sent me, are ugly.
If you want i can reverse them but, I rather do some other cool models.

I am working on the police model atm its all finished, I just have to figure out how to save my textures that I have aplied to the model in Cinema 4D
