Private, but loyal to official features?

I read the stickies that I had been told to be relevant, considering this question I wanted to make for a while now.. my conclusion was that the only area I could post this, was right here. If I'm wrong, I'd like to be redirected or something. Because I did search, and couldn't find out where I was supposed to post.

There are a lot of private servers out there. Different from back then, they're actually playable, with most of the features apparently working... I know that's somehow bad, since players spread to different servers, and it becomes difficult to keep a big community (number wise), but I'm not going to be another one discussing that. I'm not a developer. I don't own a server either, and I don't want to. I'm a player. And my opinion as a player is that I kinda like the way it is now, better. Not meaning to disrespect anyone. But I like it better because I don't really like big populations in the privates I play.. the way it is, I can always find a good private, with its population not being as huge and (IMO) annoying as fame was when it was still THE ONLY good private.
Sure there are a lot of servers out there, with similar features that are said 'custom'. But their staff still differs. I think that's another good point. Now the players aren't forced to stay in a private with a staff they're not happy with, because they have the choice of moving to another one.

Anyway, I'm not touching the devs point of view. Just my, PLAYER point of view. Hope that's clear by now.

Well, but after playing several privates, I kinda got tired of all the over-customized stuff. Custom shops, rates, success/failure, drops, etc.. that's all okay and all. But what people have been doing lately, messing (the already messed) skills and their effects, custom areas, overpowered sets with promise of balancing pvp... it's been making me distance from privates. I miss the time when they didn't go that far. I know you're gonna tell me to quit privates and go back to the official servers. But I don't want to. I'd rather not play the game than play in the officials now. Flyff's upgrade system fails majorly. Having to spend a buttload of cash for it is just stupid. And I don't want to have to spend a lot of time to actually enjoy the high level content. I don't have the free time I used to, and I don't want to spend that time I used to, either.
If people prefer to come up with a lot of custom stuff, editing skills to favor their favorite classes and builds, etc. I can't and won't do anything about it. But I've been just wondering.. I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one who would love to see a private server, with the necessary CS sold in-game, with not-so-high rates, with custom events but without the whole custom map, skills, gear, etc that influence the gameplay so much.. only following the official updates, be them crappy or not.
Aeonsoft makes a lot of weird and stupid changes, but I like their updates more than the custom stuff. =/ I'm satisfied with the official version updates, regardless of the ridiculous nerfs that may come with them. But like I said, I don't want to go back to the official servers, take months to reach Lv100+, spend billions in scrolls that will fail 90% of the time, etc...

    TL;DR version:
I like how Flyff private servers evolved and spread. But I'm unhappy with the custom stuff, except for the no D/C/2/3% cards dropping. And I was wondering if anyone did/ever will make a private that follows the official updates: Keeps necessary CS (scrolls, tickets, etc) sold in-game, rates higher than the official, but don't touch the nerfs, skill changes, pvp changes, equipments, don't try to create new maps, monsters or gears, etc.
I like Flyff with all its original content and all its original failures except the exhagerated CS emphasys and upgrade system. I totally doubt I'm the only one too.

PS: I probably made mistakes while typing. But it doesn't makes my post any less clear than it is. So just give me a break...

So from my understanding, Your complaining about Private Servers, as well as Official FlyFF(eFlyFF).

No one is stopping you from speaking your mind, but if you don't like it, nor eFlyFF, you should try becoming a developer, and making your own things.

Even though you say "I'm not a developer", you should try to become one. There's never too many Developers.

Then there's the other option the snuck up noobs here will say
    "Quit FlyFF".

You don't necessaryly need to QUIT FlyFF, you can still play, though just try persuade people to let you become a developer in a server that may take you up for editing.

Try Beast World Editer (BWE) - Make your own maps, and such things.
Skill Editing - Making new "graphics" for skills.
Coding - Making code for programs, learn, and you might succeed. This includes C++, Java, Java, C#, Visual Basic.
"File" Editing - Editing the Official Server Files to fit your own needs (Needs C++ Knowledge)
Developing Programs - See "Coding"; Create for own programs to fit people's needs, or fit YOUR needs.

I'm not trying to force you to do these things. I'm giving you ideas of what you can take up instead of FlyFF, or as a substitute, or even just a hobby, (Map Developing (Beast World Editor), you can do that, and play FlyFF, so you may develop new maps to test out, and possibly release).

    Thanks,
    -Apixen.

Thanks. I was thinking the first comment I'd get would be a bunch of insults.
But, um, well.. my point is exactly not creating maps or editing skills and such. I would give a try on launching my own server according to what I wished for, but I wouldn't have a decent host anyway. =/
Not saying I think the private server devs are or are not doing a good job. Just that to me the official half-broken content feels better left the way Aeonsoft made it. Again, except for a few things such as upgrading, exp/drop rates, and useless cards...

    It's like this:
Official Flyff - Don't like it because of the ammount of time and money (virtual or not) having to be spent for achieving something.
Private Flyff - Don't like it because of all the custom stuff that has been spreading.

EDIT: I've read again and understood you weren't telling me to actually edit for Flyff. Well, thanks again for the suggestion. But with my current free time I prefer to play games or play music.

I dont really like the servers with all the custom stuff either..
I dont mind, playing a server without anything custom neither..

I gotta agree with you on that one..
All the custom stuff is a bit way off..
But then again, LeechZone is a place for people who make stuff, so it will be hard to find a non-custom one..

Create your own private server from your home computer and see what you can come up with. I agree with above posts for you to be a dev because thats what many of us are doing in all honesty.
