I've been having troubles with no-ip, and was wondering if someone could post a step by step guide on how to set one up to run my server/website.
thanks :)
I searched for the guide that has been posted but it did not help.

it would help if you would explain specifically where you're having trouble. I've read that guide and it seems to pretty much cover everything o.o
1. Click Here and create a new account for No-IP
2. Accept the Terms of Service and press "I accept, Create my Account"
3. There will be sent an e-mail to the e-mail address you entered, go to your mail and click on the link under this:
To activate your account please click the following URL:
http://www.no-ip.com/activate?lid=Somenumbersandletters
4. A new window will open saying your account is confirmed.
5. Go back to the screen with the message you got a confirmation e-mail. And select your operating system, i will use Windows.
Then you will have to download: No-IP DUC (Dynamic DNS Update Client)
6. When its downloaded run ducsetup.exe
6.1 Press Next
6.2 Select where you want to install it and extra stuff
6.3 Press next
6.4 Press Finish
7. DUC v2.2.1 will load and asks you for your e-mail address and password. Enter your details there and press Ok.
8. Leave the DUC v2.2.1 open and go back to http://www.no-ip.com
9. Log in, and in the member panel press "Add a Host"
10. At "Hostname:" enter whatever you like
eg. theverycoolflyff
10.1 in the box next to the "Hostname:" you can choose for the end of your address.
eg. servegame.com
10.2 Leave "Host Type:" as DNS Host (A)
10.3 at "IP Address:" you should enter your IP Address, you can find that here: http://www.whatsmyip.org/ (You also can use Haimachi i think)
10.4 at "Assign to group:" you don't need to do anything
10.5 Scroll down and press "Create Host"
10.6 Now you will see that you created a new host
11. Go back to DUC v2.2.1 and close it, also on your taskbar at the No-IP icon, press Exit.
12. Restart DUC v2.2.1 and it will show your new host in the list. Press the little checkbox in front of the name. So that it will say:
theverycoolflyff.servegame.com: DNS is current, no update needed.
13. In your Server Files and neuz.ini on all the placed you need and even your website, you can replace your numeric IP with the new No-IP Address you have created :)
