ress editing

look I know there is a few issues in ress editing most people dont seam to realize well.......


for one you CANNOT have the res file or extractor in your flyff folder made its own folder on desktop

many peoples computers will not allow FRM or that new res extractor ro function unless this is done due to sucurity systems protecting your program files



most people dont have the patients to figure this out so i thoguht Id post it ive not seen many ppl useign ress editing to the extent they could be


I tried to edit dds files nothing happened so I guess you have to pack them into the ress......

so yeah you have to pack the DDS files into there designated res to make graphics edits to work ~_~


im sure people can do more than this just mess around a little


mabe now ppl can at least do somthing non generic like makeing new collored monsters or armors or whatever.....

My thread bout doing textures ( like color of elements and whatnot) can also be used for the CS sets , mob skins and all that.

like i made white flames in one of the examples there and also put spades on his fore arms

And the start of his upgrades glow, in this just the hands are white but I have it to where the entire glow is white now xP

yeah I know :D guess what I found the tapanese and korean models and inventopry fomat in one of the ress files 8D
