THIS IS THE LAST THING I TRIED:
Okay, so now, I just did this guide:
http://forum.ragezone.com/f457/v15-d...upport-666481/
on my Windows 7 PC, and it worked, and started perfect.
Then I did the exact same thing on the Windows Server 2003 (32BIT) VPS and it didn't work.
I'm 100% sure its not the DB now, because I restored them from the BAKs in the Repack successful, just like on my Windows 7 PC.
I only changed the IPs in the config (put 127.0.0.1 everywhere).
Running the AccountServer works fine, then I go to my Resource folder, run DataBase server and it just doesn't show up. On my process list it shows up for one second, and then disappears, AND I GET NO ERROR(.txt)!?!
Would it be my OS ? Would it be my specs ?
System Specs:
How can I fix thisCode:System: Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Enterprise Edition Service Pack 1 Registered to: user office some kind of random key :D Computer: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU Q6600 @ 2.40GHz 2.39 GHz, 512 MB of RAM
It'd be a waste of money if I can't get the normal files (clean) on this server.
Please help me

Old Post:
I'm using Windows Server 2003.
I've got these databases:
ACCOUNT_DBF -> .bak from Dell Honne's guide
CHARACTER_01_DBF -> .bak from Dell Honne's guide
ITEM_DBF -> from .sql file (Dell Honne's Guide)
LOGGING_01_DBF -> .bak from Dell Honne's guide
MANAGE_DBF -> .bak from Dell Honne's guide
RANKING_DBF -> .bak from Dell Honne's guide
I put 127.0.0.1 on all IP places.
I tried putting my DB password, and tried not putting it.
And I get no error.txt
When I use the same files on my (x64) Windows 7 PC
(same .bak files) it does work.
ODBC is set up like this:
login : ACCOUNT_DBF
log01 : LOGGING_01_DBF
character01 : CHARACTER_01_DBF
manage : MANAGE_DBF
ranking: RANKING_DBF
I really am clueless. I hope someone can help me with this. I'm 99% sure the problem is not in the files, because I've also tried it with the clean files from Dell Honne's repack. I'm using some custom files.
Thanks in Advance![]()
