SerusUriels Guide Re-done

This Method is to Play by your self alone. If you Want to make a public server I suggest you read another guide after you can run server alone by your self.

Installing / Placing the Files:


Install MSSQL Select Default Settings Except when it comes to the Mixed MODE options. Choose MIXED MODE choose the password for the sake of this TuT we will set it as root

Install Management Studio Express if it also doesnt come in one File... again Install with Default Values

INSTALL v14 of FLYFF! and PATCH IT! After you Patch it...............PUT THE NEUZ AND STARTER.BAT you downloaded and put it in your flyff folder

For The REPACK FOR THIS TUT MAKE THIS FOLDER IN THE EXACT LOCATION UNZIP THE REPACK IN THAT FOLDER!

c:\Flyff

Finish Product should look like this

C:\Flyff\Flyff Repack by SerusUriel\Neurospace\v14\v14\V14 (should see Files and Folders)

Exract the WorldServer.exe_fixed in the Resource Folder

Step 1:

Open Management Studio Express and Leave it as:

Server Type: Database Engine
Server name: (yourusername)\SQLExpress
Authentication: Windows Authertication

Now Open up the AllInOne.sql File SerusUriel included
Once Open Click Execute
you should see a listing of Errors bla bla bla
Once its done Check If your Databases were created
In the Object Explorer Window click on ur server name \ Databases If you see Account_DBF and so on then it was Executed correctly if not Try to Execute it again

HOWEVER IF YOU ALREADY MADE YOUR DATABASES PREVIOUSLY AND ARE STILL GETTING ERRORS YOUR DATABASES ARE STILL MADE FROM YOUR PREVIOUS ATTEMPTS SO PLEASE DELETE THEM THEN EXECUTE ALLINONE AGAIN!

ITS LOCATED: C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL.1\MSSQL\Data
DELETE THE ACCOUNTS / CHARACTERS / ITEM / LOG 01 / LOGGING AND RANKING!!!!!

NEXT YOU MUST CREATE A LINKED SERVER

and to your Ranking problem do this

Go to


Server Objects > Linked servers

Rightclick Linked Servers and choose --> New Linked Server...

from here on you need to config it


Linked server: put RANKING in there
Choose Other data source
at Provider choose: SQL Native Client
as Product Name type: RANKING

Datasource: your SQl Server Nmae EG: "yourusernamehere\SQLEXPRESS"

After this go to Security and click on add

Local login choose: sa same as Remote

Enter your pw behind that

Next go to Server Options and make

RPC out : true
RPC : true

then clickon OK and you are done

Step 2

Please Follow SerusUriels Videos they are perfect for ODBCs and Creating Accounts.

Open your data.res with exos58 Editor Find and replace propLang.txt with the one you downloaded (the data.res in the Resource Folder)

Save and Close once done.


NOW GO INTO C:\Flyff\Flyff Repack by SerusUriel\Neurospace\v14\v14\V14

GO TO PROGRAMS

ALL IPs in THESE CFGs SHOULD BE SET TO "127.0.0.1"

OPEN AccountServer.cfg with Notepad

JUST EDIT

DB_PWD_LOGIN and put "root"
DB_PWD_LOG "root"

Save and Close

Open Certifier.cfg

Edit DB_PWD_LOGIN "root"

save and close

NOW GO INTO YOUR SCRIPT FOLDER

Open DatabaseServer.cfg

Edit

DB_PWD_LOG "root"
DB_PWD_CHARACTER "root"
DB_PWD_BACKEND "root"
DB_PWD_ITEMUPDATE "root"

Save and Close


FINAL STEP

RUN IN EXACT ORDER BTW TURN YOUR FIREWALL OFF! Bit Defender Users Put it in GameMode

Account
Database
Core
Certifier
Login
Cach
WorldServer.exe_fixed



NOW TO PLAY IN YOU SERVER REMEMBER THAT NEUZ & Starter.bat I made you Download and place in your Flyff folder?

Go into your Flyff Folder and Double click Starter.bat a window should come up THEN FLYFF WILL START.

Log in with the account you created.

Depending how Good your computer is it may be awhile for you to log in

Hence im running a Duel 2.2ghz 3gb ram Laptop and it just takes a couple Secs to play on my server

If your getting Errors even after this guide please read through SerusUriels Thread it may have already been answered

*Update*
Some People May have to Reinstall Flyff but not need to Update it since my 3rd attempt i never updated it

Forgot to mention DELETE the Flyff.a file from your Flyff folder

ok ok, thanks. I'm with all running but with localhost IP I wanna put it public for GUILD FRIEND TEST, I got the no-ip already installed and all.. but i'm a bit confused "Where do I put the no-ip at flyff server files" - "Wich ports I have to open".

Ps: I'm using a router TP-Link.

Now in Serus REPACK The FILES are Located in Program and Script

and its under AccountServer.cfg basicly its the Cfg files hope this helps

Change the 127.0.0.1 IPs in the CFGs of Serus Repack to your IP and dont forget to point your Neuz to your IP as well and give that to your friends

Google is your Friend just put in how to log into (your router name) then in your router settings you should see a option about port forwarding and open those ports i gave you those are what flyff uses

yea whoever is going to connect to your server needs your ip in their neuz.ini

no it doesn\'t work like that.

what u need to do is make ur IP STATIC first, so each time u connect with ur internet it uses the same Digital numbers.

Ater that u just put the ports like they shud, put in that adress and click on apply. Get a PFcheckertool from portforward.com to check if they are really open.

Remis, i'm sorry but this was really unneccessary in my opinion. I think you are just trying to get thanks and whatnot, because serus had tons from his "Release". Don't get me wrong, but you only made it easier for the UBERNOOBS to do it now.

go to scripts
open database.ini or somethin like that
and edit the resourse to ur language and place where ur resource map is. (i mean like in english it would be C:/Documents and... or something like that and in any other language it would be different.)

copy the resource like: Resource: C:\flyff\Serusv14private\Neurospace\v14\v14\v14\Resouce\

and paste it into worldserver . ini (in script folder too)

Yea thxs i didnt include that since when i extracted the files in the c:\Flyff folder with winzip it already made the preset paths for the .ini's
