Did you first try connect when it was all set to 127.0.0.1?

Maybe "ccdchosting.dyndns.org" is too long, I heard some had that problem, and worked when had a shorter name.

    Re: Server Issues

I have set it all to 127.0.0.1 before and it did work, but does that make it a public server? All I have used was the 15v files and not the v16 resources.

Then you can replace some 127.0.0.1 to your public IP, and see if it still works for you. remember to open ports. if that work, you can use a no-ip, or something..
maybe it is that long names dont work, and shorter names is better..

    Re: Server Issues

I don't get why long names wouldn't work...I am thinking that for some reason it is not checking 127.0.0.1 through my masked ping. I have been able to connect with my masked ping, but I cannot pick a server or character due to the inis being 127.0.0.1 if my account server is my masked ip. Anyone have better files I can download?

true , it doesn't matter if its long. it does matter if you are editing hex. ive seen that error before myself. it could be this ResourceFolder "C:\Flyff Server\New Repack\V15_FIles\Resource" problem or you mmsql username and password or one more possible reason , the server's path or location.

are you sure you did the mmsql right ? linked up server , connecting data to another data using obdcad32.exe and all that and test them? if you did it right then yes , the possible problem is you got the file in wrong folder or it is wrong file to go with your database

    Re: Server Issues

Recently I transferred the files to my friends comp and he can join, but I cannot. I even tried to set up hamachi and it does not work. I followed a tutorial on here over and over.Yes, the ports are forwarded. 15000-30000 tcp and udp
