Should i open up a Rhisis Test Server? Give opinions!

Before you reply with "NO theres already a few out there" i would like to tell you, that i run a large enough server, not near Fames population, but bigger then the Caali emu private servers. I do have access to a dedicated server meaning that the server would probably be online more then other "Test" Rhisis servers since all of them are hosted on home comps.
And now ... ofcoarse ... it is time... TO VOTE!
Ofcoarse don't just vote and leave your opinion after voting...

The following will be on the test server if the major vote is YES.
-Latest Rhisis compiles
-All starting out with GM access (NO this is not to attract NOOBS, this is so bugs can be figured out quicker)

Requests arent allowed, but this isnt a request, no wonder why he used a request tag :P (if it was "requesting opinion", then it is allowed lol :P

On topic, if you think people will really play it and report bugs at your forum, then you compile the bugs, check if they were reported and report them at rhisis forums, or you are going to leave it at debug and make a mass test to find where(or if) it crashs, or something, why not :P

At first I thought this was unnecessary, since there are plenty of test servers now. But then you mentioned you have a dedicated server.... It would certainly be a good idea then.

I really think this is un-necessary, like you already said, there are a few servers already, and they are online the most of time (We don't need a server that is 24/7 since these are test servers)

If you are wondering how bug reporting would happen... There will be a link from the frontend linking you to the bug report page, you report the bug, they get to me, i transfer them to the Rhisis team ;)

At last, if you think there are already enough test servers, think again xD most of them are just open for a day or 2 (not saying that mine will stay for eternal life, but it will stay unless something goes wrong) and just stay on one revision forever after... Please read my first post again where i tell you the features ;)

The idea is great. Only thing I dont like. Everyone starts with GM Access?
The server will be full of noobs who just want to try out GM commands and etc, and what this mean? Crash, crash, crash and once again, crash.

Just give GM Access for some active players on the server. Theres no idea in giving them for everyone. This test server will fail if you give GM access to everyone.

In my server one GM spawned "few" mobs, eh, I dont even know yet how many he did, but my computer got raped for that. So I believe it will be much better to let players play with normal access.

I like your ideas, but with GM access i believe bugs will be found quicker, and one thing i could do to prevent issues is setting the max players online to like 10-15? If the function is already working, im guessing it is since its in the config files.

Since we'll help Akitasha, BBim and Glaphanking with finding bugs on Rhisis, I guess I'll change my mind and say "Get this damn server up!"

Eh, they will find bugs out easier if you let them play normally. If you make them GM they just stand at flaris and doing +10 stuff so they will look "cool".

Unless you can make commands like .flaris, .saint, .rhisis, .darkon and etc, so it would be easier to go to other places. Also .penya <mount> would help little bit.

Not all commands like .lvl, .exp, .item and etc.

I think that zebra should choose a bunch of people, that will be GM's, while other players won't be GM's.

Only specific peeps should be choosen tho, like ones that can be trusted.

yes i agree that zebra should only pick a few GM's because then the server will be overpopulated with noobs trying to act kool spawning a bunch of mobs and items

sounds great. i think gms need to be approved tought and agree to rules to not just spam a ton mobs and such.

lol the code is open source, change GM commands so just admins can spawn mobs and give people GM access level is easy if you know if command in any language.
