6/10 . Work with the bg color.
I suppose its a good thing when people are inspired by my designs, but what i dont get is why keep the header the same style..
Using an existing design isn't creative at all.
Use your own or don't post it at a forum, it's embarrassing for yourself when people can point fingers.
Dosen't take long to learn photoshop, and then use dreamweaver.
You can pull of some amasing stuff just by drag'n'drop.
*cringe* dreamweaver D:
np++
ConTEXT
Coda (on mac)
Bluefish (on linux)
only programs you need for the writing of the code.
Dreamweaver adds in so much unnecessary shit.
Plus when you actually learn the language instead of drag and dropping, then it's better in the long run.

BG color is bad, but overall 7/10.
As well, any real employer that may potentially employ you for such things, will want you to know how to hand code stuff. It's one of the main questions I ALWAYS get asked when applying for a job if I know how to hand code and am not reliant on a WYSIWYG editor.
In most cases (like with dreamweaver), when you use all it's features. It bloats your code, inserts tons of code that is downright not needed, and has a tendency to cause some major cross-browser compatibility issues. All of which you would have to go back manually to fix by hand anyways.
So the way I see it, do it right the first time, and you'll save yourself time and headache.
But if you just use the source view in DreamWeaver and the IntelliSense or whatever you wish you call it. Then it could help you write faster. But there's much lighter (and free) programs out there that will do that and more for you.

I agree with you, but you have to agree that the dreamweaver is the best html/css tool for newbies (like me).
I like the concept of the header, but the main page could use some help![]()
