    startup & end batch

Well, I made a batch file that starts and ends the v11 server.

I found it annoying to load 7 executables every time I wanted to start the server, and in comparison close seven windows every time I wanted to shutoff the server... So I've made some batch files that I will link to and explain below.

To use these files, please make sure you have your server completely set up and make sure you are able to log in and whatnot. To set up your server, follow this great guide by Mohanddo: http://forum.ragezone.com/f457/my-wa...-files-615676/

    Downloads:
    http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?cjkiznrjjjm
    http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?imxyymqkcz4

    Instructions:
    1. Add the batch files to your Flyff server directory (or any other directory)
    2. Create a shortcut to both of them, place them on your desktop (or any directory)
    3. edit the start.bat path and include your NeuroSpace path as a parameter for the batch.
    4. double click to start or end your server .. enjoy!

The In depth guide for the computer impaired
I realize there are a lot of people on ragezone who simply don't know what a batch parameter is, so I've created an exclusive guide for the computer challenged.

    1. Make sure you have a working server installed that you can open in the normal "double click each executable" fashion. If you don't, please refer to this guide: http://forum.ragezone.com/f457/my-wa...-files-615676/
    2. Download the files that I have linked to above.
    3. Locate your flyff server directory typically named "Flyff Server Files v11 (Fame Files)"
    4. copy both the startServ.bat and endServer.bat to this directory (folder)
    5. right click on the startServ.bat file and click "create shortcut". drag this shortcut to your desktop.
    6. right click on the endServer.bat file and click "create shortcut". drag this shortcut to your desktop.
    7. right click your startServ shortcut (typically named "startServ - Shortcut")
    8. click on properties.
Diagram 1.1 - steps seven and eight

    9. keep this properties window open (dont close it yet)
    10. next open your Flyff server directory again... typically named "Flyff Server Files v11 (Fame Files)"
    11. In that folder, open the folder named "NeuroSpace"
    12. Copy this address to the NeroSpace folder.
for XP: highlight the address, press control + c
for Vista: click the "file icon" to the left side of the address, press control + c
    Diagram 1.2 - step 12 for vista

    13. close out of this window, go back to your StartServ shortcut's properties window.
    14. locate the Path field
    15. click the path field
    16. press the right arrowkey until the cursor stops progressing
    17. press the space key
    18. insert a quotation mark (shift+')
    19. paste in the path to NeuroSpace (control+v)
    20. insert a quotation mark (shift+')
    21. press OK, (at the bottom)
Diagram 1.3 - steps 13 to 21, edit the shortcut path

my original path looks like this:
    Code:
    "D:\Games\Flyff Server Files v11 (Fame Files)\startServ.bat"
my new path looks like this:
    Code:
    "D:\Games\Flyff Server Files v11 (Fame Files)\startServ.bat" "D:\Games\Flyff Server Files v11 (Fame Files)\NeuroSpace"
note: you do not need to edit the endServer's path. It should be fine as long as you didn't change the name of the executables.. which the startServ wont work if you did do so.

You should be complete! double click on the start server to attempt a start up. If you are using a non official flyff server it wont work. You must use the flyff server that was used in the guide I linked to.
If you are having problems(how could you) please post your problem here. I probably wont help you, not because i dont like you, nor because I don't care, but because I wont be checking this thread very often.

    There's my batches, enjoy.

I have to agree with you there. Lol.
Never seen setting up a batch file take up to 20+ Steps. Kinda hurts my eyes trying to read it. ;P
