If you were brought to this thread because:
1) You clicked a link that somebody said it was a tutorial on how to be spoon-fed on setting up a server, fixing bugs, or anything in between
2) The title
3) 1 and 2
You totally deserve to read this thread! It was MADE for you! Anyway, keep reading because I worked hard to keep you entertained.
As a side note to all the "Proper Posters" (People who know the rules), read it anyway because apparently it has some humor :D
All right, if you are new, you MUST read this because I'm sick and tired of new users just waltzing in and posting thier stuff and problems on the WRONG section!
Okay, here's the breakdown of the Flyff Sections
-Main Section
-Release Section
-Development Section
-HELP Section
Now, let me help you guys read very clearly.
-The main section is GENERAL stuff about Flyff. Yes, some people post help but they just can't read, can they?
-The Release sections is for people who are "Smerter" than you and post thier good things that make Flyff Private Servers better! Wow!
-The Development section is like the release section, but things that arn't fully functional yet. So don't go there if you're some kind of script kiddy or just a leecher of other people's hard work :)
THE DO'S OF POSTING (Look I use color so its more noticable!)
-Make sure to use your prefixes that attach to the correct type of post (Release/Help/Guide)
-Make sure to use PROPER spelling when asking a question or releasing something
Example: "Hey guys/Hello/Hi, I have a problem with my server, the login server does not work right. When I open it, it just quickly opens, then closes in a second."
-USE IMAGES! These will get more attention to people and will acually want them to help you because you're making thier job of helping you E A S I E R
-No 1337 or forign language (Besides English :) ). Here at RaGEZONE, we tend to use something called "The English Language". Meaning, most of us do not speak Spanish, German, Hebrew, Hindi, Russian, Chineese, Japaneese, forigneese, or French. Please use the english language to the best of your ability.
If you do not speak english very well, use this
Type your normal language in there, then translate, copy, and paste. Knowing that website, we might be able to help you out, depending on your situation.
Remember to THANK anybody who has helped you.
Example:
A random Coder: Hey, try this -Gives link to a website that helps-
You: Hey! Thanks for helping me out!.
The DON'TS of Posting (I will use red to show you its E-B-I-L)
1) Posting in the WRONG SECTION.
Okay, people, please do NOT post Help Threads in the Release/Development threads. Posting there just bacicly says "Hey, I can't read the rules and therefore you should beat me up". Also, the "Release" section does NOT mean you "Release your problems into other's faces". That's a no-no.
2) Do NOT Flame!
Flaming will get others to not like you very much, and get some unwanted attention and get you banned. Moderators may pay a visit and screw you over :) I mean, just look at bluepiexD (Or the hundreds of other names he/she has made)
3) 1337
This gets many people to start yelling at you and getting you to be more of a nub.
"741k1n9 l1k3 7#15 D035 l\l07 lVl4K3 Y0U C00L"
It annoys others and is very hard to read.
4) Leeching off others.
Too often do I see many people leech off others, and then DON'T give them credits. Its like they did all the work, just to get ripped off by some person and then never to hear from them again.
Please...please....please....post your credits to the appropreate person who origonaly made the...whatever they made.
5) (NEW!) Reguarding Caali Files / v14 (Official) files
As of right now, the community has decided: Caali Files are:
BANNED
Asking for help for v14/Official Files is:
NOT ALLOWED
Because I've seen this about 867,5309 times and if I see it one more time I will come to your house, cut your face off, and make them into pretty masks! Kay? Thanks!
If anybody decides to post against the rules of posting, just link them to this thread :)
(I hope someday I get something stickied :) )
That includes the lession on not how to suck at posting :)
