V14 Files and Database

Correct, I'm stuck at the CHARACTER_STR but I gonna fix it tomorrow. I gonna sleep now and maybe there's something that tells me the solution.

Since my character_DBF is working fine =] might give it here after i got my server up for testing.

did you fix the DB or what?

Im able to get mine up with no more errors in the error logs. My only problem is I get stuck when I go to create a character. I click ok and it greys out, but doesnt create the character. I think it has somethign to do with the model/sfx/theme folders etc. Ill re-install a copy of the beta client and get those rather than using DemonFlyff @.@

if anyone has the full CHARACTER DB please release it here :)

The one provided works for me. You just have to use the error logs to fix it. If it says something about so and so doesnt exit well, figure out why @.@.

Yay for no debug errors or errors in the text files and still getting stuck at server selection. Probably something obvious, as always with me but meh.

I'm using another v14 character_01_dbf which was executed without any error.
But i think i need a good client now ._..
If I login to the channel selection my client crashes with
"2009/11/16 22:06:05 CDPCertified.OnSrvrList"

Ahh my only problem is Create Acc

If u have a client (and you know the md5 salt (hash)) it would be nice if u could say me where you got it^^.

Am I missing something obvious? I honestly cant see where anything goes wrong. That error is from error.log in the Program folder after forcing the client to exit while getting stuck on 'Connecting' on server selection.

no xD you have to set up inis like caalis, put db in mssql, ODBC and after you have to start in this orde: account, certifier, database, core, cache, login, world

I wasn't acting cool, i just am. And its just faster than downloading off a file-hosting site. Anyways, it isn't very protected. Just download the patch, put it in an empty folder with DSETUP.dll, let it patch so you get list.txt, and see the file directory of your site where you keep your patch files.


Note: Does/did anyone get stuck at server-select screen? Any solutions found for those who had the error?:?:

lie. I had the same problem and changed a few things in the database. And to everyone who can't pass the server selection. If you read the error logs you can simply fix the problem if you got a experience of 2 days in SQL at all.

I just fixed the char creation I'm currently fixing the login into the world :x

Well ofcourse read your error messages first, but if there appears to be none, it's your neuz. Plus it's a common problem in FlyFF. I've been around long enough to know how stuff works.

If there are errors, then fix those first.

Cause i have the same problem where the WorldServer closes with the EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION error.

The first thing is, correct your text that a person who got English skills can read it.

I gave 2 people tipps, little tipps. If they got a brain and a computer then they are able to get this shit working. :)
