Website question.

I just had a question if i want to set up a website without using xampp or wampserver cause i have me own website domain/website host is it then a diffrint method of how to make the website connect too ur server ? or is it the same method but then i just have to put the site/login script/ database connection script in the domain/webhost location?

yeah it includes php soo all i have to do is just export with a ftp programm too me website host/domain right?
