Tell me about it. Source gets released and nobody can make up their mind. Delete it or don't delete it? That is the question.
I agree with this, once you visit here for a few months then you realize that the section is pretty much "dead".
Yeah, all the emulator threads is what made this section alive. Then the official files came and the section dropped like a brick.
Yes... developers left/stopped releasing because people leaked their stuff and claimed the credits or didn't give credit.
Mmm I'll prolly start work on the source this weekend, good thing is, idc about credits for this so i won't even put any when I release things, it's just a learning experience, messing around with it to get better and learn a few things about making my own games. and imo, everyone has the source pretty much, what's the use of banning it, should just ban all the binaries from here on out, so if people want to stay current with eflyff they have to code the features their self or go get them from gala, banning the binaries and leaving the source would bring back some development imo, everyone says all the good developers left, and yeah they are prolly long gone, but sitting here whining and discussing how much our section fails won't make it better, cause you know "developers" kind of look for development. so maybe if we start some development it'll attract some peepz ;P
Good luck ^^
Caali times and Lightning times was the best! late 08 ?
well here is the gist of it for the same reason tom and nforce's sales were so good, skiddies
it was semi controlled before due to a few version of tom's anti hack floating around for free but the free version was still vulnerable
and as of recently he began focusing on school instead of his anti hack (understandable) so basically most the servers that depended on it dropped like flies, and nforce neglected updates long before

[/COLOR]Mmm He had a good idea, blocking packets, and even blocking gm trade packets for the anti-corruption, ashton decided to make his own you know one we didn't have to buy :P, it's really quite easy. the hard part is just finding all the crash packets, and some friends gave us quite a few, but packet encryption is the way to go :) @off
I might just be one of those skiddies :P, not only for flyff though lolLol. Kind of feel bad for the kid. Found a msn config file with an encrypted password in it(:, pain decrypted it, which helped me get a shell on this site Dutchhackerz.nl - ff weg!! :)Spoiler:
There's a reason the release section is more active then development, most of the things that are released, have backdoors, not only for anti-leak, but for us all to have some fun. now how do i know, most the people come and brag lol.
I think its abit neutral about the source.
