People probably think: Why make something when it's just going to get leaked to core or some person will re-release without credits?
I guess most people are just fed up of stuff like that so now you only see guides and stuff in the release section.
An emulator would be nice, but now everyone has the source so emulators are useless or so some say, would be cool if people took stuff from the source and put it in their emulator and made it like some super pimped emulator.
