Would you like to run a RaGEZONE flyff server?

Hello!

I've been considering possibly adding a ragezone flyff server to our lovely forum for the users but sadly... what server do I use? if you are experienced with Flyff and would like to create a server under the ragezone name then please reply here and state your case.

Preferably I would prefer a pre-existing server that will merge into ragezone, renaming itself whilst we create a sub forum here (with moderator rights to you) and a sub domain too if needed.

We have the v15 official server files that you could use and would be the most stable atm. Unless someone can work with the v15 official source code to make it that much better, Which we also have.

We've also got the choice of a v11/v12/v14 official files. But I think if any were ran, v15 would be the best option at the moment, since we have the source for it and can basically make any version we want from the officials and customize our own.

The source was just released and people can find millions of exploits in the files, also nobody has a good enough server to merge with ragezone nor can someone create one thats good enough. We can hardly do anything with the official files and developing the official source takes time.

We don't use emulators like ragescape or lineage. The only things we can make are like map/weapon models to put in our server :(

Then this would be a good time to get some of our devs back, specifically to work on a ragezone flyff, to fix those exploits. Keep it closed development so that they don't have to worry about their work being leeched and we should be good.

Would be a good time to talk to Divine and Nicco :P

Not everyone knows how to patch those exploits, but some people do.

BGxAshton has been working on fixing them.

RandomnessFlyFF is opening back up. Dunno if Ashton wants to or not. I'll ask him later.

Would just need to fix the known ones, and the most dangerous ones to start, which shouldn't be too hard. Then move on to the rest after those are done.

He's made progress. He's found exploits, and is trying to get them fixed.

I don't know if he HAS fixed some, or not. I'll see later.

I already know little nabs are gonna try making servers for MentaL ;D

well mental the project I'm on may be able consider it, but curious what the conditions are to do so

we have fixed all known exploits even bugs that officials have yet to fix, as well as other unique content

The only person who would probably get a kick out of hacking a ragezone server is probably Mootie. Keeping him and little skiddies will do the trick ;D

@Reimniess, probably like the other servers ragezone has. It must be unique and stable. Probably not high rate, must have a sick website, good staff.

This would be a nice community project if you ask me. I'd definitely be in.

I do think our server fits that description. Lowering rates is not a problem.
