But most are only that, a step above. There's only a few that are well above.
you know, I'm getting real tired of people complaining "uh, since the source was released people have been using exploits and hacks like crazy!". Seriously, do you hear yourselves? Maybe instead of whining about it, you can take the source, find the exploits and then patch them.
Simple? Yes.
Doable? Yes.
Will pServers do it? Doubt it.
I think it's time for a title update old chap
we did and still are for every new exploit found ;/
lol, I wasn't complaining personally but thanks the past exploits and ect. a lot of people have pissed a lot of people off
so a lot of people have grown a bit of a pessimistic attitude or have turned into one of these skiddies attacking other servers, though a few have stopped and actually bothered to instead of crying actually try to improve the game of it's issues, and what few of them actually want to help the community get scared off from all the flamers and whiners, who discourage them

v15 is too common, maybe we can make "v17" before gPotato?
- All of the v16 content
- Even more classes to choose from
- More quests
- New maps
- Stable Economy
- Better graphics and models
Since that is pretty much whats going to be new in v17, 18, 19, and so on lol
I'm sure we have enough map developers, modelers, engineers, web developers and whatever else you need to make the best server ever /ridicule
A server where everyone was a GM would be nice.
Limiting the powers would be a must though
-Powers for normal players:
/ci
/sro
/te
/ritem
And ofcourse, admins would have all the commands
PS. An open development project like this would be the section to life again :o

^Most likely whichever that get chosen will follow their own development path and not keep everything the same as eFail, with some minor additions.
Lol some exploit arn't even defined and won't be even useable :/ as i saw something on the release section :P it say's idef (some things here) but its not defined and so its not used that exploit is fake.
Keylogers ? probly some check from the korean developers i don't know never found that.

I think Ragezone should use v5 excutables <3 lots of bugs and exploits instead ?
I get pmed on msn a lot like "**** YOU" "***** ***** WHY DID YOU" etc. etc. etc... block ftw <3
So yea if no one is happy about the release of the source don't blame me or anyone else just don't download ignore and use excutables.
And its e-Flyff not eFail. Just stop calling names at something you play or develop on :P its what dutch people do.
But erm Could Mental explain the play about this more clearly ? I'm like confused about this whole thing. I'm going to make my plan and with a group and people i'm going to ask to help we make something nice.

if it was open source it would die within a matter of hours, open source = people can see ways to exploit things, as well why would people play it if everyone else has it, in addition an all Gm server is nothing short of foolish sorry to tell you, it's far too easy for fools or those who wish to do it on purpose to cause massive damage
and as far as expanding the game, we are already doing that and more
working not only new maps,levels, monsters, weapons, quests, armors,skills and ect. ect. but entirely new systems never before seen on flyff, however I'm not permitted to say what that is yet, but it's pretty amazing
as well I'm working on an expansion to the classes however a bit differently then was done in v16, which will likely turn out even better then it
the jobs themselve's skills though flashy were not much to impress

I think when people begin making new versions of flyff, THEN Gala-Net is going to strike in. If you actually get another MMORPG up based on their files, the hammer can fall any time.

How about a different approach.
Rage Zone is a populated community, alot of developers for most games. Talented developers, skilled developers, learning developers so on & so forth.
Why not put together a team. A team like no other (Sounds like a story LOL). Nearly all the developers here have potential, making a team consisting of developers such as Pain, Wakazaki, Miyo, Dell, Rem, Glaph, Black. Damn, sounds like a good team.
Can it work? Yes.
Will they co-operate? Idk there's alot of hate in the community towards each other.

Devs are taken sorta.
What Mental really tries to do I think is get something that already has a name. that can be converted easily, and has a proper team put up together.
