It doesn't just "simulate" it, it also tests for syntax errors and such. If people see a new released NPC in RaGEZONE which they find cool, they'd want to test it. Not all people want to conncet to their host and reload the server just to test it. Also, if you are coding a script and you're a beginner you will have errors like position of the text, etc, or you just want to test a few things. This saves you the time of restarting and checking everytime. If you don't like it, don't use it. There are a lot of other people that will find it useful.
Still, it saves time.
I thought sales threads had to be in the market place.
How would I get the free version? There dosen't seem to be a download link
yeah thats true. I just don't usually have my server on since my laptop is a true piece of crap.
shawn and sharky released some excellent tutorials to NPC scripting lol, and anyone with half a brain would check the console for errors if their NPC isn't working properly; well either way, good luck with the tool.
will it be released? o;
I understand what you're saying, but it saves time. I personally would rather press hotkeys and immediately type my text or if I use sendSimple to just type my first selection, press enter, put the second one etc, move between statuses with one key than typing all of that. It saves time and that's what it's for.
NPC+ Update.
Hello all. Sorry for the lack of updates in the last few days. I've been reworking on NPC+ because of what happened, trying to get things sorted with MentaL and Kevin, here are the updates:
- Rewrote the entire program.
- Fully working login & registration system. When you register you're a free-user and you can upgrade to the paid version to unlock all the awesome features (NPC Simulator, read additional functions from source, etc...).
- Even simpler design.
- New! Now reads the ListView items from a CSV file, which will load them faster. That way you can manually add functions (Or let NPC+ do it automatically).
- New! Computer ID: A special ID that is created using many variables from your computer and is assigned to your account when you register. With that I can stop account-sharing meaning you can only log in to your account from the computer you registered from (Compares the account's computer's id with yours).
- New! Through an admin panel I can now see who shared accounts (Even though it's not possible), and edit account's information (Username, Password, Computer ID, Is the user VIP or not, Ban the account and more..).
That's all for today. Thanks for the support and donations, you really keep me up!
About the account sharing thing, that should be restricted to VIP users only. Like you only record the accounts that buys VIP. That way it'll be easier to handle everything regarding that.
And also, make people pay $2 or something like that, for an HWID reset. (Hardware ID)
Looking forward to this! :)
Thanks for the support. I'm using HWID for everyone since you don't buy the licensed version through the program, after people pay I'm just adding them myself within seconds. If I were to make the HWID for licensed users only I'd have to ask them to get their HWID and it'd take some time.
I'm sorry for the delayed updates. I'm busy with school and work and can't get into NPC+ a lot in a day like before. Well, after talking with aeonhack from another forum (Some of you might know him), I figrured that it's best to use his licensing system "NETSeal". With that I can use a machine lock to stop account-sharing and give ranks to users.
When registering through Seal (It will pop up before the actual program pops up, a login form will show) you will have to activate your account through your e-mail (The email may show up in your spam folder.) After activating your account, you will have to enter a special serial number. I will be posting 50 serial numbers (for free accounts of course) in this thread when NPC+ is out, and I will constantly update which serial is already used. When they're out I'll update the list. When you succesfully purchased a license and paid for it, you will be given your special serial.
