Introduction

TowelCMS is a web-management system designed and coded for TowelStory. I'm thinking of removing some of my unique features and releasing an open-source type CMS simply for the community.

However if no one is interested in it, I will not waste my time, so voice your opinion!

Well, I took a good 3 hours of my over-nighter last night to work on the "visual appeal" of the CMS. I'm not 100% satisfied, but I think it looks better than before. I left the old screenie links for comparison.

I believe he meant that it looks like I'm frauding this cms and just building an html page with no php.. (I could be wrong, some people dont know english very well)

Me and my dad had a 4 hour long argument over me buildimg my own CMS's and his using wordpress.. I prefer to work within my own programming boundaries, both for the learning experience, and the pride I get out of knowing that I turned nothing into something.

Edit: Added new golden logo..

I may have to make a theme system, i put together another theme and now I cant seem to decide which to switch to... Suggestions?

I am the same in that I like to use only my own stuff, but very often what you need to do needs the use of other peoples code. Its hard to use OpenGL without using OpenGL.

also cype sucks dont use it

Yeah I have no intention of using anything from Cype...

HOWEVER

I will say that I took a look at the cype code for the bug fixing querys (Log id out, and change map). But only because I am unfamiliar with MS Servers, and didnt know which part of the table actually fixed those bugs.

Everything else is coded from scratch by me :D
