Have you gotten in game as yet, jonny? I run the server from the compiler and that gets me as far as the login screen, but then gives tons of errors when I try to login.

yah im working on it its due bec the files are old from as far back as v51 i think as he started to rewrite it things when down hill its getting there...

only way ill work on this if i had a team and a hoster/website etc.. forums blah blah blah database ppl and anyone that wanted to code on it... all the erorrs are from the sql and the database... example...

select id from users where username='%s';",username

there is no id in the users database but adding it doesnt fix the mysql issuse...

If I understood the code better, I'd bother helping out with that, but I can't do much.

Btw, running the server from the compiler let's you get to "intializing maps" and the nothing happens.

well, ater that the server is running

and I found an id column in the users table. fixed it now. delete the users table and create it again.


And the initialize part is really not coded good.
Are you sure that you have the mobs folder in the same folder of the servers?

well yah that would be one issue other is you mysql of geting string etc... is werid and messes up at times and crashes the server all packets are from v.49 for all that need to know...

okay Its not v.49 or v.50 Tried both and both do not work.
testing .47 and .48 now will post results

The server is for 0.52
Some packets are wrong.
Read the notes.

And to fix the problem with mysql create the users table with the new fixed table.

Yea, it tries to connect to my hamachi.
Just edit LoginPacket.cpp and change the ip to 127.0.0.1
