    No v83 has a launcher since we have localhosts, but you can always make one lol. I don't see why tho...

    Since v83 wasn't that secured, no "workaround bridge" is needed for data transfer, therefore you can use one of the released localhosts (unpacked clients with removed GameGuard/HackShield). Use Google to find a download for them.

    You can unpack one yourself and remove HS if you want :).

    are there any guides on how to make one? im pretty interested to use C# for v83 localhosts just like how it's done for v140 and above.
    @DivineKid , if you managed to make one do pm me about it !

    Well actually there are 2 types of redirectors you can make;
    1. Global tcp redirector, works for any kind of connection, not just for maplestory, disadvantage being that it doesnt need to decrypt packet.
    2. Decrypting redirector, uses the maplecrypto to decrypt maplestory packets, thus only working for maplestory, it is still based on a global tcp redirector

    Both are quite simple to make, if you have a coder who is experienced with redirectors it would only take him an hour or two to make such a thing.

    Why would you do that, exactly? I'm not entirely sure but it probably will slow the data transfer (packets being re-decrypted through the redirector and being re-encrypted), it is not needed. I'm guessing you are probably referring to a launcher... could it be it? A customized launcher? Because a redirector is not needed as the client works great.

    well you see, those v142+++ redirector are able to have domain names like 123.zapto.org to be placed as their IP address therefore if my ip were to change i could just edit the domain to redirect the client to my new IP without my friends redownloading my client again.
    im doing this cause im actually hosting my v83 server on my computer and my ip changes like every week or two then my friends who're playing with me will have to redownload my client again which is a pain in the ass. or maybe there's a way to config domain names into localhosts of v83 ? never really asked before this .
