The client in the original links is outdated and Ronny has made a downgrader to replace this.

I would recommend you head to the PWD Project page and follow the instuctions there. Read all documentation carefully. If you for some reason cannot downgrade using the latest release, I have included the previous downgrader and instructions below

Make Your Own Client With Ronny1982 Downgrade patch

Step 1 Download the official client and patch to version 283. You can use the 293 Client if you wish.
Step 2 Download Ronnys Downgrade patch (The original had error so it is recommended to download the Repackaged Downgrader.
Step 3 Run the downgrade patch (if you used a client version higher than 283 then download the help script).
Step 4 Replace your elements.data and gshop.data with the ones supplied in your server release

Ronny's Downgrade patch now has its own project page. You can download the latest downgrader from there.

I'm finished download all client files and have already downgrade
my server is from beastie 1.3.6 ubuntu server

it keep says "the server is in maintenance mode" why ?
