Lol i dont want noones serverfiles, i have up and running free and non commercial server (i mean fully non commercial - even no donates).:ott1: I do it for fun and cos i love perfect world (it is a good platform for art work), so i dont want server, which made by some1, i just asked him the way to fix jd maps and ofc i am ready to pay for his work (or you will say me to get it free from him?)

but q maps are very very very easy. Just 1 change and all is done. Other maps are different. v13 v14 and v15 ;)

Hello,Eistiger. At first, thx you for map (Z9),i have found how you fixed it with HEX editor in file like"z9.ecbsd",so i want to try to fix other Z-maps.I can to launch z17,but i have very big problem. when i try to relog,client crashes with bug report.sometimes client crashes when im entering to this location.

I have been looking into the Q (LOMA) Maps its simply just a version change and it works with the PW Client, I have tested around 10+ maps so far all working great.
I am atm still figuring out how to do the ZX Ones I got 2 to work so far but they're still a little buggy and crash at times, guess I am missing one thing, I will see Tom about this.
As for mixing the texture files and litmodels this is how I done it.
Litmodels:
See below about buildings then once you have done below add them to your litmodels.pck
Buildings:
This is the complicated part, what you will have to do is extract the full buildings.pck of Zhuxian and rename the folder "Textures" to something with the same amount of lettes in it for example "zxxtures". Then place this into your PW Client buildings.pck. You then afterwards when working with litmodels will have too use software such as "Ultraedit" and edit the full folder of the litmodels and search for the following text "Building\textures" and replace with "Building\zxxtures" then add your litmodels to the litmodels.pck of your PW Client.
Textures:
Just add them, they dont interfere.
All in all no problems for me so far.
Only thing I am having an issue with is creating the walk maps for the mobs/NPC's some reason SMap dont convert properly so think maybe we need to re-edit smap a little.

Fixing clt to .sev for Region and Precinct
99% of you actually use SMap so I have tested this and it works fine.
Precinct
Precinct seems to convert fine without any issues, what I can say though is you will need to edit the Instance ID etc for the name of the instance to appear in the top right and also the music.
If you intend in getting the music as well then just go to sfx.pck and convert .ogg to .mp3 you will also need to change the file names of all ones that have chinese lettering. Also change the file names of ones that may clash with already installed PW Sounds.
Region
Ok you need to edit client side and change version to 5.
Then you need to remove the following from each line of [trans]
Before

You can then safely convert to .sev and it works fine from here, I havent worked with "[Region]" yet in region.clt but if this becomes an issue in later maps I will add how to fix this as well.

Next is mini-map I hate working with Mini-Map I have it in my client already but its way out of sync for Z9 at the moment. I will test and come back to it asap.

Honestly, trial and error. I took the official ones (which you're right are WAY off), took a wild guess and wasn't too far off. So then all I had to do was run through the map making small adjustments... I don't know that mine is 'perfect' although it's "pretty darn good".
I did use photoshop to 'fix' this ;)

I got some Ether Saga Maps to work too they look pretty cool. I am waiting for Tom to be available more so I can sit with him and write an editor to convert from the game to PW soon hopefully.

I take that back, I see I used:
\surfaces\midmaps\z9-1.dds as the 'world map' just adjusted for size :)
*then* I took the minimap in:
\surfaces\minimaps\z9-1.dds split it into 4 pieces, then the rest was guess and check (mainly adjusting by only a few pixels each time in attempt to get it to line up better)...

For the walk maps etc Get the actual server files for JD thats what I did they seem to work perfect.

Paint.net is good enough for dds editing
