If you use VI / VIM you can easily reformat the files in Unix and remove the "^M" characters. I hear dos2linux helps too.

Fixed. I downloaded the java (jdk) 1.6.0.13, installed it to /root/, changed all the usr/java/* references to root/jdk1.6.0_13 :D: I then replaced the gshop.data file with the original and it loaded up all fine. Does anyone have a gshop editor or guide to edit it without corrupting it and making it work?

Does anyone know how to edit the client (using 1.3.1 since 1.3.6 just won't work) to stop the animation of the mobs from decreasing the farther away they are and add a space after the colon before the text in the chat? (like "Test: Hi all!!!" instead of "Test:Hi all!!!")

What need modifier more ? Have followed all the steps. It is the eighth server that I try to do.

Well, I install new UbuntuServer in VirtualBox and put all files, but....
"-bash: /root/.profile: line 24: erro de sintaxe: fim de arquivo inesperado"
I use "nano .profile" for edit, re-edit, check, etc... saved and reboot linux, but error persist. :<:
and what files have to change with CHMOD command ? 775 or 777 ?
Obs.: I already tried the other version made and works well with "Ubuntu 8.04 Server VMware Image by Beastie". But I don't like VMware.

PW 1.36 WORKING... but not login

Probably an issue with gauth can't connect to the mysql server and can't get the password and login from the dbo...

You may check: hosts (for ip), table.xml (for dbserver (mysql), login and password, look what i have wrote for the problem of milhub... your answer is there), check authd file again for any problem with java path.....

And I thought this would happen only to the files for MSSQL.. but its still the same on mysql files...

Yes, it might be due to hosts or table.xml, but i think there is others which maybe i miss out... maybe the java path, cos since i already tried upload a new version of the java... could be the authd... but path was correct cos i just overwrite the old folder ... ... ... .. any other suggestion...

2. Did you have check : the authd file in the auth folder ?

You can change the starting cultivation for each races with iweb!

do a fresh install of java 1.6 (jdk version). Download it on the offical javasun website. (Take the linux version!!! not the windows version..)

1. Oh ok. Cos i have a windows 2003 installed was hoping to save time.
2. Yes i already check, and dont think there is any error. Maybe you can show out the prober, working auth? And what other thing should I check?

I like to say thanks to beastie the server works pretty well although I would like to enable it to work with 1.3.6 or higher clients instead of just 1.3.1. :)
