PW 136 Server files for use with MySql

Greetings Guy's n Gals,

here are the fixed up server files I used for my release which now includes a working iweb and the 136 update which fixed maps such as crescent vally as well as including tekks elements.data for solving the pickaxe problem..

so credits for this release go to the following..

Tekk - elements.data
shawn - dbo and authd development for mysql usage
xypher - map fixes
nevermind - follow up fixes
trash - registration script

Notes on using..
The server files are preconfigured to run on an IP of 192.168.0.50 on a true linux install, example, these files are NOT using a colinux or vmware emulator, you can however build these into the said emulators if you wish though.

Whats included
importantly, all 32bit Library files needed to run this release (you may need to get 64bit varients on x64 installs) a registration script so you can register users (duh) a dbo.sql file for importing into mysql, 2 java versions (1.5 for iweb and 1.6 for authd) a .profile file for /root/ (edit and resave to cure the eof error) a working partial and full start script as well as a working shutdown script and an edited **IWEB** http://192.168.0.50:8080/iweb/

Files to edit..
/etc/hosts - put in your own hostname
/root/.profile - gets an end of file error, to fix it just edit and resave it

Lampp - download and install in /opt/ using these instructions.. http://www.apachefriends.org/en/xampp-linux.html

Add theses lines your the .bashrc file in your root folder:

I already have packaged my server files ^^ but i have a slow connection for upload them :\
So.. i have used the Eistiger server files on his Debian guide...
I just need to upload the autdh folder now xD and elements and gshop .data...

But i will do this the next week... because i must do something on my server before and.. i will get a small new notebook ^^ .... with Vista x.X

So... when my future notebook will be formated with a correct OS xD and when my server will be fully done, i will upload the authd folder and the others things =)

i have downloaded the files yeti the rar folder only has 4 files in it
pwserver.conf ; pwserver.ext3 ; swap1.bat and a txt file that i cannot read as it is in russian i think

am i missing files??
im sorry if i sound noobish but i am this is my first attempt at installing in ubuntu
(took me 3hrs to get sql installed:P)
just opend PWServer.conf and it is for coLinux????

um, you haven't downloaded my files mate, these are for a raw linux install, there is no pwserver.conf ; pwserver.ext3 ; swap1.bat and a txt file, i think you have maybe downloaded these ones..

iweb doesnt work...

i start server with: ./start.sh

in ./start_minimal.sh tomcat doesnt start

I've tested it on 3 comps using ubuntu 8.04 server x86 and 8.10 server x86 and it worked fine on 3 attempts dunno how it didn't work with you

the authd file has to be modded if you changed the version in /usr/java, simply type..

 nano /PWServer/authd/authd

and correct it to the version you have, dunno why you downgraded it tho, i supplied it with 1.6.0_12

nope, once you install lampp, all you have to do is configure it then copy the reg files to htdocs as well as import the dbo.sql into mysql..
