Beastie's release is configured to run in 131 version of the client. Edit gamesys.conf under glinkd folder in your server file and change "version = 10301" to "version = 10306" there are 4 entries you need to change.

That fixed it. Thank you so much

I now got mah server running on a vServer and all is running fine, exept the database connection. I fixed the "error in Server and Network" thing by editing the /etc/tables.xml but now it seems like the server cant read out of it. I tried with the register script and it seems to write just the first letter of the password into the table, also i tried ( after it failed ) to import the user table from mah old vBox server but it always shows "Wrong username or password" when i try to login. Looks like the encryption things are not working correct ( maybe wrong codepage ? Its set to Utf8-general-ci ). Any ideas ?

phpmyadmin mess up the password when you import/export your database.

you should use Navicat (for mysql), it doesn't mess up the password when you import/export.

    Use google to search it.

I already use Navicat full version but it still fails. Also the register.php fails writing the passwords. There is always just one letter in that row.

Maybe you should stop using this release. When you dont get basics to work then this is the wrong release for you. I am using this release and i can say i had to redo 90% of the stuff to keep it up to date. Better use these: http://forum.ragezone.com/f452/serve...-guide-698047/
And you dont have to read all pages. Just do the stuff from the Guide and it will work.
If you still want to use this release you will run into trouble. pwAdmin will not work 100% as example, also most of the maps are not compatible to downgraded clients ( HGN client will work but its missing like 75% of the stuff we already have ), no Horserace, no arenas ( unless you use the fix ) and much much more.
