Mini Tutorial: How to install the kristkos mod

1. Right click on the Surfaces.rar and "Extract to Surfaces\" (winrar or 7zip are required).

2. Make a backup of your surfaces.pck in your client directory.

3. Use the pwpack.exe to extract your surfaces.pck

4. Go in your surfaces.pck.files\surfaces\ folder...

5. Copy and Paste all files and folders from the Surfaces\ folder of kristkos mod to your surfaces.pck.files\surfaces\ folder... EXCEPT THE iconset SUB-FOLDER !!!

6. Go in the iconset folder of kristkos and copy only theses files to your surfaces\iconset folder:

iconlist_action.dds
iconlist_action.txt
iconlist_guild.dds
iconlist_guild.txt

7. Repack your new surfaces.pck and enjoy !

oh yeah btw the gui is a lil distracting so i strongly recommend to ask ur players if they want it or not by a poll or something if ur planing to use this on your server

btw, i have fixed every bug on mine 1.3.6 client. It's so cool i can use new content from wanmei game without bugs (or some minor bug).

but i kinda worked my way around it and made it red lol since the text was barely noticeable and fixed few stuff on it to actually look good XD

It's a kristkos mod for the Deadly Shot EA's skill if i remember the name of that skill xDD

And the blue interface is from him too... he have just released his red version for us

Delete your surfaces file and repeat the process correctly...

yeah and the credits go in both cases to me lol(for the blue and the red)

blue one was shared a while ago ...i belive i shared it here as well but i closed the download links

also the iconlist_action.dds/txt(that is the E button the icons will show red as well) shouldn't be changed is just a recolor there O_O the guild yeah i use a basic version of that(but hey it's ur choise)

and the effect is rather null O_o unless every guild u use it has different icons wil be changed back to the default one (only for iconlist_guild.dds/txt)

On the MS server does not work ...
but
I have changed many times my models.pck that does not work without a fixpatch.
The fixpatch was written by someone to resolve this problem.
(For the Nudepatch was that I think)

My question is, what exactly does this fixpatch? Know someone?
The fixpatch is only for models.pck files. I've tried to apply to the surfaces.pck, but there is still a error when starting the client.

Has anyone an idea?

for the official version it dosen't work lol
wasn't made for it... a nude patch is preety simple just 3-10 files my surface is 200(give or take)
the version is fixed PS's 99% of them use it so i won't make different versions ...custom's stay with custom servers >.<

I have a lot of GB ! So it isn't a problem for me to archive old files XD

Yeah Im trying to archive all the files also so if someone needs them they are available.

I tried installing this but the client just crashes after choosing character. I have found that the error is in the window folder and am going to locate the cause and fix.

Also I tried making my own GUI before I got these files but some of the changes didnt take effect. Im gonna look at my changes and see if I can find out the problem. I have tga type 10 instead of tga type 2. Ill figure it out though.

The error is with this file 雷达地址板1.tga in the world folder.
It appears to be an inssue with the name and im not quite sure how to fix this.
My image editing programs cannot open this file unless I rename it. I then rename it back after I have opened it and it cannot be opened again.

The second character is bugged 达.

Some of the GUI doesnt change even if the images are changed. This is highlighted in blue below. It doesnt appear to be using the default image in the surfaces a also.
