we use 3dmax and photoshop plugin for dds.
but still confuse what kind of software to open .gfx file ?
by the way..after we edit all the *.pck files
must we reupload ( replace )it to our server ?

notepad can do it ! it's just simple text file with differents informations of the positions of the textures dds on the weapon...
kritkos can help you on this... i'm still a newbie on this matter and i can't to do great things like the work of kristkos...

rom, i got error with my gshop.data after edit it using tek gshop editor. what is the promblem ???
i cant login after replace with edited gshop data.
is it possible cause of the surfae location ? because i copy and paste it about the dds or ecm. but shown as surface/???????????.dds <<-- the problem ?
You have corrupted your gshop when you have saved it or an item in your gshop doesn't figure in the elements.data on the server side.
So the GS can't start and you can't login... x)
If it's an item error just "cd" to your gamed folder (i.e: cd /root/PWServer/gamed) and type ./gs gs01
And at the end, you will see a line with chinese symbol and some thing like: (ID:14587)
Just delete the wrong item from your gshop, save it and reupload it on your server and restart the GS.
we just need to find out about item's ID and surface dds location right ?

nope. i don't put any surfaces on my gshop xD and it's working. It's not a problem of surfaces path but a problem of wrong item that doesn't exist in your elements.data so the gshop.data can't load it and the GS say an error.
It's a bit complexe for upgrading your actual pack with the new ones from official wanmei games... because there is some errors about new files that don't working with the old client 1.3.1 and many other errors.

by the way, when using tekk elements...why i cant add new id to my elements.data ? tekk editor just for change :( there is no add new id :(
