Ensure the item is updated in the server side too. any changes in the client MUST be reflected in the server.

are you adding items for sale or for crafting ?
I'm trying to make an item available for sale.
Edit: It might interest you to know that I'm able to change the prices of items from the client side. I haven't really done much else apart from that though.
you need to add the item ID to the specific purchase list as defined within your chosen NPC
I tried that (albeit client-side which might have been the issue). I select NPC Purchase from the dropdown menu, select NPC ID 2673 (Merchant), and enter the item ID in the Value column. When I access the NPC in-game it shows me the item and allows me to drag it into the Buy section, but when I click Confirm it gives me the "Invalid service request" notification. Is it possible that the items are limited to a designated NPC? For example weapons to blacksmith, armor to tailor, etc. or is it something I absolutely have to do server side? That in itself isn't a problem for me I just want to be able to go about the game and fix problems as I see them instead of having to switch back and forth.
Merchants are not linked to item types, be it, you can add any item to any NPC (this is different with regards to crafting). the issue is usually due to a difference between server/client element.data. kinda busy right now but ill make a quick step by step when i get a chance.

ya i have those but this Elements editor has all rows explained.
And so do newer versions of seledit. (and the link is stools - ... - Google Project Hosting he doesn't use codeplex anymore)

The pwtools svn-downloader on codeplex checks out the google svn anyway so anything you get from codeplex is the latest.Quote:
