is your sql server setup as Server name TDS usualy if your computers name is not TDS then u will half to either set your computer name to TDS or find out wat your computer name is and configure your PWserver to read the name of your computer i know i had that problem a few times then after u get that all set you half to restart your pc and also make ur sql database so delete the old 1 and recreat it and also make sure ur password is edited in your pwserfer for mssql under core.php get back to me and let me know if it worked

Yea, I tried renaming my computer, it still did not work. Any other suggestions?

error is:

Ok now i have one more issue... I got it to work, however, logging in server, it says it is outdated. It is version 1.2.6 like it requested, what is the problem?

when i run the pw server.bat thing a command promp pops up and then this comes in yellow and it closes - coLinux: kernal panic suggests that either you forgot to supply a root= kernal boot paranter or the file / device mapped to the root file system is not found or inaccessible
Please check your coLinux configuration and use option "-v 3"


what should i do?

Killer10333 check your PWServer.conf and bat file are both set to the correct paths and reminder i think they are case sensitive if im correct

ok i think im screwed...this is what i have done (at least what i can remember, since it was a while ago...


i downloaded those files in the guide...extracted them in the same folder and it came out with a few different folders...i installed mssql 2000 and colinux with fedora 7...i then configured mssql. then i changed the path of PWserver.bat (after moving the files in pwserver to colinux folder) and PWserver-conf... then i ran server.bat and this happened-
a command promp window came up saying

"C:\coLinux/PWServer~>cd ../

C:\coLinux-daemon.exe -t nt @PWServer.conf fastboot nogui eth0
=slirp,,tcp:29000/tcp:80:80/tcp:8080:8080/tcp:443:443

yea idk if that was supposed to happen or not, but also im not sure how to start colinux..it doesnt have a run or .bat file...i have client 1.3.9 because i couldnt find client 1.2.6 (or 1.3.1 or 1.3.6, if you know a download link PLEASE post)

please help me, ive been trying for months but i dont think ive got anywhere, just got a bunch of stuff downloaded/installed...infact i may be worse off then before

PS- how would i make my server public after i make it?also if you have a guide that shows how to make a public one, please tell me...but really i wana focus on making ANY kind, but killing 2 birds with one stone is good =p

i have tested and download client 1.2.6, working good, can register, can login, can playing, but item mall not work, its say client low version, some one can help this problem?

Hey, hopefully someone can help me out here.
I've spent the past couple of days reading over a couple of guides on this, and I think I'm close to getting it working.....
Anyway, the registration page works perfectly and the world loads (server-side). But I can't seem to get the client to connect to it.

Any Ideas? Let me know what info you need ^^.

okay so far all is working but the regisration page and the links to the eth1 fix don't want to work so could someone PM me the instructions for fixing it.
