You will not set to 1 all, but some cheaters on your server do... after openin this thread we all need better deffence than we have... this will be pain in the butt coz in unlocked arees alot of holes in textures that allow pleyers to crash world map)))

First of all big thanks ronny for releasing the guide to remove the restricted zone.

To make ppls who unlocked all the save-zones unable to enter the restricted zone, use this setting for you worldmap in gs.conf :

This can be considered a serverside restricted zone... only bad thing is that you wont be able to enter the restircted zone anymore, even as gm. (But i think a not crashing worldmap is a bit better)



ED :
Got 2 problems someone may know a solution for...i cant use teleport stones to go to the tideborn or genesis area, i already converted my world_targets to .sev but it still wont work (but the "Cannot use item" error wont come up anymore)

And like some others i have the client crash problem when entering the area marked in the screenshot posted some posts ago...the memory the client uses is going up to ~1,5GB - 3Gb and after that the client crashes with a Out of memory exception (got 8 gb ram and the client is filling it until there is no ram left)...i guess there is a bug in the map which causes a memory leak, any informations about that ?

You need to fix GFXs for TB map :mellow:

All my GFX are downgraded with the latest sModFix SVN, can see them in the tideborn and genesis area.

Any other suggestions what i can do to fix this problem ?
Tryed to re-convert the map but wont solve the problem....noticed that i have the same client crash problem in 2 places at City of Raging Tides.

this is one of the areas.

and I know it is GFX pck related. I just can't pinpoint it yet

sMODfix is under heavy developement for preparing the new internal structure, you should use the download release...

The Eistiger can fix most gfx of the Tideborn and Genesis.
This must be due to its correction tool, you plan to do something similar in your tool ronny? I look forward to the forthcoming review of the PWD :]

real GFX 200 (downgrading to 1.3.6 / v58 not v52!!!) support will be added to sMODfix, but release of the new sMODfix will be after pwi genesis...

i'll release a full downgrade table with all prameters listed as far as possible in a few days...

ronny, can you tell me which settings you recommend to use in the release version of sModFix ? Do i have to activate the advanced GFX processing ?
