2. Extract Text
3. Open intl.txt (Extracted text) and translate every second line.
4. Open again the Editor.exe and select the Compile file

The Game Server and the PVP Server are two different things...
You have to configure and run correctly both servers...
You must configure the game server like always and the pvp server following my new istructions

Server work ok in localhost but not in public. I test with 127.0.0.1 & 192.168.1.10 but with public ip not work. server crash

With the correct configurations everything works great! Please don't start to post your errors like a bug segnalation.
To make the PVP Server public you have to follow the same steps of the game server. Put your LAN IP in the Main.rb and your public IP in the rpg maker xp project.

hope you guys fixed some bugs, last time I checked alexander's online system it was barely working, the pvp was completely broken, you couldn't finish a single fight.

Markz why don't you merge both servers and remove the useless gmail thingy? Its fairly simple it took me like five minutes to do it.
Also the pvp code needs serious re work, Im not surprised that nobody got it working.
The battle scene thingy needs to be removed completely it causes more problems that it helps, we need to use the real battle scene that comes with essentials instead or just copying it and edit it a little.

These are the bugs i have found so far:
-If you get a critical your opponent may not and the battle will crash.
*same with moves with random effects like metronome
-If you try to swittch pokemon the battlle may crash.
*this is because the original battle scene is intended to be used with npc trainers, if their pokemon faints they will use the next one instead of choosing one like a real person.
-If you level up inside of a battle the hp and other stats will change to you but not for your opponent and the battle may crash.
Probably there's a lot more bugs that i can't recall right not, and all of them are caused by the new battle scene, that scene is intended to be used for npc trainers NOT REAL PLAYERS.

I have test your PVP system and i think it's good work, i have find 3 errors:
- "You are already logged in" after a invitation fail.
- When I attack a pokemon of opponent, and the opponent want change pokemon, I have the ask if i want change, I say Okay and when I change my pokemon, he use the skill of the older pokemon.
- In the computer at the centerPokemon, when I want deposit or withdraw, i have a big lag but I have corrected that -> in PokemonStorage -> in the class PokemonStorageScene -> in th def pbSelectPartyInternal -> at the line 2161 « if key!=nil » -> “if key!=-1”.

Hi,
I got the server setup and running and I connected a client across my lan. For some reason though my first pokemon has no attacks and if i switch out pokemon and choose attack it shows attacks but then quickly goes back before i can attack. Anyone know what could cause this?

It says connecting to smtp server and it wont fully initialize. anyone know what im missing, Im able to get the older version's to work without a problem but the PvP modded server is having smtp issues. and yes I did put in the gmail user and password without a problem. anyone know whats happening?

For those of you having trouble with the PVP server and that it gets stuck on 'Connecting to SMTP server' or it closes..I have a FIX:
Open the Main.rb file with Notepad, and change the GMail SMTP settings to live's SMTP settings (Google it)
Now open your game in RMXP and open your script editor. Change it so it says 'Live' not 'GMail' to players when they register.
POOF! It's fixed. ^^

This jackass took my nox release and changed virtually nothing without even giving me credit, it was only after Aegisrox probably pressured him to do it, or he just copied the MRMX-OS post.

Initially i fixed your nox file, but later, i made a new project with the last pokemon essential release and rmx-os! Nox file was a s**t and people can see it! I still update the kit and you never didn't nothing in my project! THIS IS NOT YOUR NOX FILE THIS IS A NEW PROJECT MERGED TO RMX-OS! Everybody with a minimum skill can merge pokemon essential and rmx-os.. so what do you want? A fame for what? Please go to pass your time with other things! You aren't a god, you're human like me! Markzz if i restore healt with pokemon center, in celadon city (2nd city), the client crash
log report say: follow pokemon..

Lucila, i had the same problem. Try to run the game.exe with your rpg maker xp closed.
Other thing i have the same problem always when I try to run it on my VPS.
The server is installed and configurated. Running fine on my VPS.
The port is open, I checked.
But i'm still get the Offline server when I run Game.exe on my computer.
I tested also in my personal computer, trying to login through the same computer. And the same happened. Server offline... I dont understand. All the ports are open, server running fine and the configuration correct.

Having a problem with executing the 'rmxosdb' database. i get this. but both my connection and database is called rmxosdb just to be safe but to no avail. #Edit # can i manually input the tables... if so could someone post a screenshot of one of theirs so ill know what to put it and how... and the FOREIGN and PRIMARY KEYS.

Anybody got any solid ways of getting the PVP Server to connect I'm at a loss... after making 80 percent of the original Kanto plus areas for other pokes. So if anybody have any ideas id appreciated it. I honestly don't see what im supposed to edit and change it to in the "tutorial" other then the vague PVP server tut awesome job with everything truly its all great love how the terrain is already set up.

I'm having issues with the SMTP server for PVP.

The Main.rb hangs at this message and won't continue any further.
I can get the actual server up and running, and the settings for the SMTP server are configured the way I was told to do so. (Gmail Username, password, etc.)

Is it possible to make a PVP command like the /trade command with no need for another server or SMTP?
You can't make a multiplayer game without battles, so this is a huge setback in further progression of my game, as I can't do PVP without making the SMTP work.
Any advice?

i'm having a prolem with the PvP battle system. i used smtp.live.com to overcome some authentication problems i had using gmail when trying to start pvp server. but when i try to battle the only thing that appears after choosing my opponents nickname, is a black screen and nothing happens. Did anyone alese confronted this error ?

So i've managed to give the PvP a successful try. But i've noticed random crashes.
I believe the main reason to be the fact that all the battle handling seems to be done by the two clients.
For example the way i imagine the current "PvP" system works is that if a trainer named "A" and a trainer named "B" with pokemons "a" and "b" respectevly battle, what happens is that when pokemon a executes a move A's client calculates the dmg+effects, but also B's client calculates the same dmg+effect. This sometimes may lead to a difference between what A's client calculated and what B's client calculated.
I'm not sure if this is the actual way it is handled, but if it is i believe that is the reason why random crashes happen.
It would be more effective if we found a way to remove the battle logic from the client and into the PvP server itself.
Unfortunatelty i dont know ruby very well to be able to do that by myself, nor understand basic structure of how the current battle system works due to lack of documentation. I could try to help though if someone gives me a brief explanation on how RMX-OS, RPG maker and pokemon essentials work together.
It would be nice though if people already knowledgeable about the project structure, give this a try.
