    Server attacks

    Server is currently under attack off and on from disclosed locations, if the server tends to max out this is the reason why.

    Dan,
    It seems your server was the victim of a HTTP SYN attack. This was causing apache to continuously spawn new processes and drive the load of your machine up. This could have had a big impact on your server going down. I added a bunch of the attacking IPs to the deny list for APF.

    As you noticed server been going up and down last few days, i have no idea whom is doing such thing but the ips are coming from brasil so its deff from a brasilian or two.. nasty people :(
