The whole monsters thing is wrong, the only things that are effected from the XMLs to the server is the HP and EXP, the rest is client sided. (explains to you why MapleStory is easily hackable?)

Just use notepad and get XML files, Much easier to edit and a lot simpler... Some items required the server to be restarted. Keep that in mind, pretty simple to all the pro's of rageone.
Wow, this guide was rather useful and simple in my opinion. I'm shocked I actually read something this long that didn't have color-coordinated...anything!
