    [Tutorial] Implementing Custom WZ Encryption
    Thank you, @Eric!!

I was able to get the encryption working, but everytime I hit a mob I dc with the following error:

I suspect this is because I did not touch my List.wz, but I'm unsure how to save list.wz with my encription, considering it opens like this:

    Best

I don't think List.wz can crash you like that after you already got in game and can see mobs, also you never need to update your List.wz when WZ editing honestly. Did you WZ edit a new mob?

Possible issues, you didn't save your Mob.wz in the new encryption, you messed up the memory addresses in the client, one of your packets in the source is sending an invalid WZ path of an element, you WZ editted something incorrectly, or your WZ repacker doesn't save your WZ properly and is corrupting it.

    Update:

It appears the images are not parsing correctly.
To test, I took my newly encrypted map.wz > reencrypted to GMS > tried in game, and it gave me a blank screen, then error'd out to DLL invalid (DLL is confirmed edited with correct key and IV).

    Any ideas?

Alright so running into an issue just with mob.wz
When taking a GMS encryption file then saving as my own encryption, it appears some mob images disappear
I checked in the repacker to see if the node has the image, and it indeed has no image (but strangely, its not ALL mob nodes that are missing)

I debugged the solution and it gave me the following:

Hoping someone could help out here, not sure how to handle a null issue with bitmap

I've reached to a point where everything has already been built, and when I am trying to save .wz file It'd throw me that message:

I repeated the process entirely couple times already. anyone please?

I had this error a few times, I had tried two things:

    1) Make sure you are not overwrting the same file that is open
    or
2.) Get a new copy of the WzLib from HR github

    Hey thanks for your reply,
Will you be able to link here the MapleLib WzLib you were working with?

    Edit:
I've managed to encrypt wz files, for some reason when saving mob.wz It'd throw me an error.

Also, I've edited the PCOM.dll and for some reason, I couldn't find the hex values for the UserKey as Identical @Eric posted.

    I have v83 PCOM.dll

Export all the XMLs from your mob.wz, then re-import them into your mob.wz , then encrypt. Got mine working. For some reason, despite following step 4 as Eric mentioned, encryption doesn't work proper.
