    sad Abshad Force high General Skill textures

    Hey there Ragezoners,

    We all noticed that joymax finally unleashed the legend of The arabian update which contains New uniques , mobs , Dungeons ... etc,

    i was able to get them all working with their tactics and everything went better than expected. , except for 1 unique

    It's the abshad force high general. , Although it's added successfully in every part of the client it has 1 problem ( i guess it's textures problem )

    Whenever the unique attacks it just remains standing and no effects happen and i'm getting hit and my hp is decreasing and that doesn't happen with any mob or unique ingame.

    I thought it's the skilleffect in the beginning , but i downloaded more than 7 clients of silkroad which has the arabian update such as Csro , csro-r (130 cap) , Isro , Silkroad-R , Jsro-R .. etc etc

    i tried to look at the skilleffect of all these client but i noticed there was nothing different than my skilleffect , although csro and csro-r had it working and the skilleffect not spread to lots of files like isro , sro-r .

    I took it's skilleffect and imported it to my client , and guess what ? , same problem didn't change anything.

    Sometimes it does show effects when it attack , and most of the times , it doesn't.

    and btw , before i go there was something i wanted to say , Isro and sro-r skilleffect lines was copied to my client and nothing changed , however i got into the arabian dungeon of silkroad and there it's fully working with the effects.

    Let's hope someone would help me developing it , however it's the only thing missing for me.

    As far as I know, skills being "frozen" are .ban related. *.ban files are animation files inside the data.pk2.
    Try to figure out which .ban respectively is set up for the unique AND specific for that skill.

    I had the same issue 2 years ago.
    No clue how I solved it (actually, overwriting data and particles from kSRO to that time). Tho, I am up for a step-by-step implementation, which means, each skill, each monster, each environment which will be added to the game should have a stand-alone feature, which means, everybody using the tutorials/files will add them fully functional by 100%.

    It may take some time reaching the arabia content. I am just at lv 121-130 skills atm.

    Actually thanks because you're the only one in this forum who tries to help and replied to this thread.

    however i forgot to mention that i did everything , i took the entire data.pk2 from isro , csro-r and all the clients mentioned in my post and pasted it in my client's folder and that didn't change anything.

    also i noticed some skilleffect difference between isro and csro in the lines of the abshad skills

    as an example the csro skill effect lines got some "FALSE" while it's changed in the skilleffect of isro to "DEFAULT" or "0" , i don't exactly remember

    i don't know if that makes any difference with the skills showing up , btw ( none of them fixed my bug i got the 2 skilleffects and nothing changed.)

    Well, arabia has just been released (iSRO standards) to the regular official servers. It may take some time until Joymax polishes those specific not working or crash causing skills. But as I know the differences between our vSRO 1.188, 1.193 and other server versions, they are not even near to compatible to the newest client. Joymax adding continously new skill parameters, which our server cannot read afterall.
    Adding new textures and meshes which the 3D render of our current sro_client.exe cannot handle.

    It might be just me, but we have to get the newest client with a compatible server cluster (which includes the newest databases (with updated tables on declarations) AND modules (which are able to read those new tables ... since changing tables on our current server databases and files will ALWAYS result into a crash, since no one has some offsets for e.g. MP_Consume column of _RefSkill making a skill consume more than 32k MP (smallint to either int or else))).

    As I am always going to say ... we are stupidly limited to the 2008-2011s of Joymax's game state. I am not developing anymore on my server, seeing no reason for it. We won't be able to get the third race, the next regions, nor new race's town, etc.
    Without sniffing and leeching the newest stuff, we are really fucked up and damned with these files.

    Much difference in CSRO and ISRO skillefect. ISRO, not work on mobs arabia the client CSRO
    skillefect original CSRObug has effects on jangan have to have someone to fix.

    It is not the skill effects afterall.
    Remove the skill effect line for a skill which you weren't able to use, so that the skill has absolutely no animation, spawn that mob and let it cycle through the attack and buff skills. You will see that it will disappear, just like that.
    It is about the skill parameters mostly which are causing issues with older Silkroad versions. CSRO-R tho isn't new as people might think. Still doesn't have the newest parameter definitions.
