changing effects , bsr´s or any visuals DONT lag the server
server lag / c9 can be caused by many things.. but again NO by visual effects

he didn't mean the exactly meaning of lag if the player has a low resolution his pc will stopped suddenly

server lag is not the same as client lag.

I have long experience in sro . , and i've never seen a server lagging cuz of 'weapon effects' .. and as you said : if you do not know what you're talking about it's better if you didn't speak .
i know that server lag is cuz of the following reasons
1- using other firewall than windows firewall
2- log_db needs to be cleaned
3- c9 is caused from server files , you have to use the normal blitzkrieq_bin_data files and fix exploits by yourself ..
4- there are no rules to use ragezone..

Server lag => Bad hardware relative to the player count || not optimized database.
C9 => Incoming gateway ip != incoming agent ip.

Lag => Client sided lag => true, cuz people have wooden pcs and displaying glows effs up their geforce 256.

If you mean lag in screen resolution , you're right . low ram pcs will have lag cuz of this effect , anyway it isn't my problem i just shared this effect
